Do you like this dress?
Hi all,
What do you all think of this dress, if you click on the link, then go to Paparazzi secion, its the red dress (as loved by Girls Aloud). I quite like it for a wedding i'm going to - do you think it would be appropriate?
Thanks

    Christmas Party Dress Needed
I am looking for something classy, black, below the knee, sexy party dress and can't find anything. Most shops are stocking tops and trousers but I want a dress!
Can anyone recommend any websites? I only really want high street and don't really want to be spending any more than £40 as I have a small budget with all the pressies I have to get. No ebay either, had nothing but bad luck on there!
    Answer:
Try: River Island, Topshop, Miss Selfridge or Debenhams. More than likely to find one in those.
    Answer:
Thanks sadie, I have tried Miss S and Debenhams, there isn't much in Miss S and Debenhams is so expensive, for me anyway!
I will only get the chance to try the others on Saturday and I just can't wait that long! :o
    Do they have a website?
    Answer:
you might be lucky in primark! they have some black lurex flecked strapless dresses which look classy yet quirky at the same time! anyone else seen the ones i'm on about? you like?xxxxxxxx
    Answer:
    Here you go:
    www.topshop.co.uk
    www.riverisland.co.uk
Also try Dorothy Perkins and New Look, as these are cheaper than the above websites, but still have some fab things too.

So sorry for doing an OT post, but I know it's busy here ;)
Is it rude to call someone on their home phone at this time of night (nearly 9)?
Not very up on telephone etiquette...
    Thanks
    Answer:
depends what time they have to get up for work! If they're up at 3am, don't call. If they're up at 7 - call them!
    Answer:
No, I don't think it's rude, I'm forever calling up my friends at far later times than 9 :)
    Answer:
It's not a friend though - it's my ann summers unit organiser. I know she works during the day...
I'm too scared. Maybe I should wait until tomorrow.
    It is quite urgent though.
I think I need to grow a backbone!
    Answer:
Hmmm well then, if you do phone her, immediately apologise by saying "that Sorry I think it's a bit late to be calling you now, but..."
Or, call her first thing tomorrow.
    Don't worry, if it's urgent, I'm sure she'll understand :)

Please help me update my wardrobe!
    Hiya, I'm new in here...hope you're all friendly! ;)
I really, really need to update my wardrobe. I'm desperately short of clothes, as I've not been able to shop properly for ages (money issues) and I've outgrown some stuff. (ie got fat! )
So, what should I buy? I normally live in jeans and trainers and t-shirts in free time, or black trousers with tops and boots in work time. Booooring! I need help!
Small bit of background....I'm 27, live in Jersey, so have access to quite a few high street type shops, but not places like Tesco or Primark, am size 12-14 ish (bottom) and 10 on top, and have a little bit of money to spend on new clothes. Working mainly in office based places at the moment.
Please help me look well dressed and stylish!

    Answer:
I love the chunky jumpers that come out a this time of year ;) If you like jeans how about getting a nice skinny blazer and some stripy accessories (top shop have some in). I got some gorgeous brown leather cowboy type (but nicer!) boots in George at Asda the other day and they look great. I noticed there were a lot of prarie style long skirts in and they looked lovely.
I love all the gold, green, rustic colours out now, and as a redhead they work for me, so Ive treated myself to a few new bits and pieces :yay:
    Answer:
What colours do you like and what kinds of clothes would you like to wear?
Lots of ideas but you might hate them!!
We're all nice in here (if perpetually skint!)
    Hazy x:)
    Answer:
Thanks for replying so quickly you two!
I love chunky jumpers too giddy_girl, so warm and cosy at this time of year!
Hazy...I like all sorts of colours, but always seem to end up buying black and cream. no matter how hard I try, I always end up looking boring and frumpy. :(
I like my clothes to be practical  but I'd like to be stylish too. I want to go out looking smart and noticeable, IYSWIM.
I've been shopping today, and come back with 2 things I like...a black jumper and a black bolero top. I'll be going again tomorrow I think...
    Answer:
How about trying a few skirts or a dress and picking up some boots or something to try with them as well, as well as a few tops and jumpers, cardies etc that you wouldnt normally poick in colours you wouldnt normally choose and just try loads on!
Its hard to say what to wear when you can't see a person so my best advice is to go and try on lots and lots of things, especialy stuff you wouldnt normally try and then pick up soem nice acessories too, maybe a new scarf, a big belt and a statement necklace or earrings, because accessories can really pull together nad make a look :)
    Have fun!
