O/T - getting verified on Paypal
I've run out of spending funds on paypal and can only increase this if I get verified or register a new account or something... they seem to want a bit of personal info to get verified, should I be concerned or is this no biggie?
One of the things you also have to do is supply merchant info... I don't know what this is... I'm hoping some of you guys may be able to shed some light on the whole verification process.

Ok, it says to get verified you just have to add a credit card....
How do I become Verified if I have a non-US account?
To become Verified with a non-US account, you must add a credit card and complete your enrolment in the Expanded Use Programme.
Here's how:
Click the My Account tab.
Click the Profile subtab
Click the Credit Cards link in the Financial Information column.
Click Add
Fill out the Add Credit Card form.
Click Add Credit Card.
You have successfully added your credit card to your PayPal account

Being a Verified UK member means that you have added a bank account, completed bank funding, and validated your account information. UK Premier and Business account holders must also supply merchant information for the Verification process.

The trouble is, I don't get that same info as that when I click the link to become verified... they've already got my CC details... they're asking for 3 additional steps to become verified:
Set up a direct debit
Register a land line phone number - a process which involved being phoned up straight away
Supplying merchant info - it says something about how they legally need info on what monthly income I expect, etc. plus they want me to supply an e-commerce URL... I don't have a business website or anything, but could I just used www.ebay.co.uk?

Aaaah...yes I remember, it's ok, when you register your landline you get a phone call but it's just from a machine, the machine will give you a number which you then go and put into your paypal page and voila....
It's just to prove you are where you say you are etc, they won't ever use it for anything else.
Do you have to do the direct debit and merchant thing as well? if so then yes Ebay is your merchant thingie....

There were a couple of threads last week, can't remeber who it was, but someone was looking for a thin black off-the-shoulder jumper to replace a Primark one...well H+M had some gorgeous ones in today, £14.99 and really soft material.
Also, someone else was looking for a black cotton blazer without huge buttons...H+M again! i saw about 3 different ones in there today, all really nice. Also, there were some in Miss Selfridge sale.

Hey everyone!
I'm going to be in Wales this weekend, visiting family, and on the Saturday afternoon my dad and grandpa are going to the match at the Millennium stadium. (I really want to go, I love going to the rugby but they couldn't get me a ticket at such short notice :( ) So anyway, I have a whoooole afternoon in Cardiff by myself, and no idea what shops there are or where to find them! PLease help! xx

First of all beware, Cardiff on a match day is crazy if you haven't been there before! :lol:
Most of the standard high-street shops are on the main street, so you'll get Topshop, HM etc there. Other places like Warehouse, Miss Selfridge etc are within the arcades off the main street as well, and are easy enough to find.
If you want smaller shops and cool places, try the arcades that lead off St Mary's street (the big street with the station on it) - you'll get Fat Face, Floyds, Pussy Galore etc which all sell more skatery/alternative stuff and one-offs. Hobos in the Royal Arcade is great for vintage stuff, as well as Drop Dead Budgie which is upstairs in the Royal - well worth seeking out!

i'm off to the rugby! yay!!!!! i'm very lucky as i have my own debenture so i'm going to two of the three matches worth going to this month (i play hockey so had to give up one to play or i'd have felt bad)!
however, i've managed to convince my pa to let me stop off in primark on the way in :D
of course, on the day i'm going to be a fashion victim in my mooches, trainers and big fat welsh shirt!!
a good idea is too go to websites of shops you like and then print them off on street map and then on one map dot all of them and wonder around to them.
and the shops will be fairly empty during match time so you should be fairly ok. however, for once, i'll be happy not to be shopping myself :D
