Spanx / Magic Knickers - Help
I have bought some Spanx knickers for those control needed moments:o . I find that when I sit down the waist rolls downwards:o  Does it just happens to me or does it happen to anyone else? Do you think maybe I had bought a size too big?:o
Answer:
it doesn't actually happen to me when i'm sitting down, but sometimes when i'm walking :o

Yes, sometimes it rolls down when I'm walking too:o but more often than not when I'm sitting down:o . I hate that, it's suppose to provide control yet if it rolls down then I have all those lumps????:o So, what's the answer?
Answer:
An MS firm control body!
It keeps those lines smooth and can't roll down anywhere.
Answer:
can you get control pants for thighs? I dont have any problem with my belly, but sometimes wish my thighs were more streamline when im wearing cocktail dresses! :o

Is bag and phone jewellery here to stay?
NO.2. ask :
Is bag and phone jewellery here to stay?
I keep seeing it in the shops as part of new ranges - Pilgrim for example. I don't use it myself (except on a bag or two that I feel really screams for adornment) but is it here to stay do you think?
Answer:
I've got one bag charm from Accesorize that is pretty but I always forget to put it on bags, it's too much hassle really so they are not for me that much. I can't comment on phone jewellery, I've never had it and don't even know if my phone could use it if you know what I mean!
Answer:
I don't use either. Prefer my accessories to look they way they were when purchased.
Answer:
I LOVE bag jewellery. I've got a couple of here charms. My favourite is a turquoise stone with some brass chains and turquoise beads - got it from Miss Selfridge to go on my Miu Miu slouchy bag. It just gives it a little edge. I've also got a leather butterfly from Miss Selfridge - I think it's a copy of the Prada ones from last year.
I've also just put a couple on my christmas wish list from the Red Direct catalogue.
I've always been a big fan of beads and trinkets so I guess it kind of appeals to me. I used to dangle keyrings of my bags when I was at school/Uni.
Answer:
Hiya Curls:wave: completely O/T but I tried to find my thread in Techs about connecting my ipod to my car stereo and I think it's dissapeared! I was chatting at the weekend to someone and they said coz it's fully intergrated in it would probably be a nightmare :( never mind. x

Could not be more O/T but...

Could not be more O/T but...
Ok, my mum has 2 cats, one is 15 and really healthy and the other (Trudy)we are not sure how old she is as she was rescued and had already had all her teeth kicked out so the vet could never be sure although he guesses she is around 12.
Anyway, my mum has had Trudy for 10 yrs now and she is lovely, she went from hiding under the dresser for 3 months to becoming the most friendly affectionate cat ever and so far, has had no major health problems.
Anyway, the point is, I just got back from visiting my parents and my Mum is really upset as Trudy has started pooing and weeing all over the house and won't go out anymore. the vet has checked her over and she isn't incontinent, he thinks it is more to do with her being frightened of something outside forcing her to use the corner of the living room as a toilet.
My mum is so upset as there is mess all over the house every morning its beginning to smell. She has called the cat protection league and they have said that they can take her but she will be put down if she carries on 'messing' as noone will take her and its cruel to keep her in a cage.
My mum is getting a litter tray tomorrow to try to train her to use that instead of the carpet (my mum's house has really expensive carpets) and if she doesn't learn, they are thinking about having her put down.
Do you think I should bring her to my flat and see how she gets on? I have no carpets and she doesn't go out anymore so won't mind being in all the time. I am just worried she will miss the other cat and miss having a big house, I'm at work all day you see.
I just don't know which is kinder, having her put down or bringing her here to flat in the city for the rest of her days? What do you think?
Answer:
ohmigod,Blonde-please take her if this cant be sorted!!I love cats (I am typing one handed as I have my cat Stan on my lap!)-there may be another more aggressive cat on her terrortory (sp?) who has attacked her or is pushing her out, which is why she is behaving like this.
eta;if you want her not to go into the rooms with carpet-lay tinfoil on the floor-cats hate that and she probably won't walk over it whilst you train her to use the litter tray (which she most likely will if shes scared to go out).
Answer:
Thats what my mum thinks. There is a 'big ginger bruiser' as my Dad called him hanging out in the garden and although Trudy is fine with humans and our other pets, she is still scared of other animals, even mice!
This cat belongs to the 'rough' family in the road, there is no way they will keep it in at night after my mum had to force her way into their house in the summer as their kids were having a party and she heard screams (she found a 14 yr old unconcious in the kitchen who had been smashed into the fridge by gatecrashers and had to call the police while some nasty boys threatened my dad with a kitchen knife)
Anyway, I just want to be sure that taking her away from the leaft suburbs with her big garden and her playmate is actually kinder than having her put to sleep. I am sure I could make her use a litter tray....
Answer:
I don't know a lot about cats, more of a doggy person but...
Moving her to your place may stress her out as it's new to her. Could your mum try taking her out with a lead on so the cat feels a bit more secure?
Answer:
Oh, thanks for the tinfoil tip, I'll tell my mum
Thats a good idea Cat, my Dad has just had his hip replaced so he has been walking her around the garden and she comes out then, the problem is at night when they are sleeping.
The sad thing is, she knows what she has done and cowers from my mum in the mornings :(

Cutting down thread - End of first month and beginning of next!
Well i think it's been a month now:uzzle:
Anyway here's my list :D
Red belt - 22 (no pound signs as on stupid laptop!)
Red bag - 15
Black knitted dress - 35
Kimono top - 16
Kylie bra - 2
Gauchos - 12
Stripey top - 20
Think that's it so 122 pounds in total.
I've made around 60-70 ish on ebay:yay:
Managed to buy part of my friend's xmas pressie and a couple of bits for OH (although he's already had them:rolleyes: ) and i'm planning to buy his main pressie this week :D
Next month may not be so good as i have to make a decision whether to keep the Topshop OTK boots and some glittery suede pumps:o
Answer:
I think overall I've been *quite* good.
Bought two pairs of shoes:
£65
£25
Black chiffon shirt:
£40
That's it! Grand total of £130, which is £70 under my budget. Also, it was all bought out of the £200 I had for my birthday from my mum, so I didn't really pay for it.
Next month I'm setting a lower target of £180. Think I can make it easily, nothing in the shops is tempting me, but I am planning on ordering the KG Binario shoes which will cost the full £180.
xx
