I want some mid calf sheepskin boots that are a wee bit cheaper than uggs. I know rocket dog do them for about 60 but theyre not as cute a shape as UGGs...
Anyone seen any? They have to be REAL sheepskin!

I'm so depressed and anxious atm that i can't even decide how i should dress myself! So i need your help. Im on a college course and i start at 9am tomorrow. I cant decide whether to dress up .. (heels, tight top etc) in the hope that it will cheer me up. Or whether i should put on my casual clothes so that i feel comfortable and can 'hide' (trainers, hoodie etc)

My choice would definately put on my glad rags, put my best foot forward with a full face of make-up and you'll feel tons better! That's what I do whenever i feel like garbage! What always cheers me up is getting my hair done, though! Hope you feel better soon!

Its just so easy to let yourself slop around when you're down so I think its helpful to try and make an effort.
I'm afraid my fed up outfit is my PJs when I get home from work! But casual "fed up but have to go out" outfits are usually my jeans and a nice fitted top - I like knitted polonecks for the cool weather - with heeled boots.
Buying underwear always cheers me up. Its something to do with knowing I have a sexy little number under my work clothes I think! ;)

I definitely always make an effort to dress up when I'm feeling low. Your exterior is supposed to be some kind of armour so I guess if its looking good, it helps you feel good too. Even subconsciously, the way we look really affects our emotions (eg. having a bad hair day = bad mood) so if you can look in the mirror, and say "Yeah, I look great today" you'll probably be more confident and it improves from thereon!
My fed up outfit is a pair of slimming trousers with some heels, nice underwear, pretty top and making an effort with my hair and makeup. It can be distracting at least.

Am fed up with wearing vest tops and t-shirt style tops and am looking for something that's smart/casual that I can wear, especially with jeans and calf length brown crops. Not really good with layering and tend to stick to plain rather than patterns - anyone with any quick ideas - will be go shopping later. Thanks!

hm, you say you are not very good with layering, but how about just trying something very basic? as if you tend to avoid patterns anyway, your choices could be quite limited.
When I first started layering, I just got a lot of basic vests in different colours - make sure they are a longer length than your t-shirts/jumpers etc, and tried on lots of different combinations until I found which colours suited each other etc. It makes plain outfits that bit more interesting, with no real planning at all, and also adds a well needed layer now the weather has gone all cold on us :lol:

As people know from my spot check posts, I am a great fan of the wrap top. I put a vest under them for modesty but make the colours complementary so that it adds interest too.

Definitely some form of tight... I think fishnets would look plain wrong, was thinking along the lines of opaques or footless/legging style tight things.

I used to wear black opaques with my grey tweed short shorts.
Sadly I don't have the shorts anymore as I got rid of them in the cull before I moved to my current place.

I tried my black city shorts on with black fishnets and pointy toe kitten heels and thought it looked very nice actually, though I haven't been out in that outfit and probably never will.
I'm making some short shorts in velvet-look microcord (so a bit heavy) and thinking of getting some charcoal grey tights to go with them, maybe with some kind of black/charcoal pattern on them.
I think totally opaque might look a bit odd, but then again it depends what you are wearing on your feet :)
