Quick Q regarding measuring boobies...
Hello ladies,
I need to know the size of my new found mega udders, so I'd like to know a simple way to measure myself, as I'm too embarrased to have it done at the moment.
And also too busy for that matter.
If anyone has any good tips, I salute you

Miss S,
The best way I think is to take lots of sizes into the changing room (or order lots of sizes if MO) and see which feels comfortable. Your ribcage will expand, so you need to make sure that you still have a few hooks left at the back for growth ;)
Lots of maternity bra manufacturers are good at this, whereas normal non-wired ones tend to just have 2-3 positions.
DO NOT worry about what size you end up wearing, I won't even tell you what size my first nursing bras were, but we don't have to tattoo it on our foreheads, so go with what feels right :)
I'm only 6 weeks gone, but my bras are already feeling tight so I think I'll be having a scout about today.
Sparkliness xx
p.s. It might also be worth buying the nursing version of bras, because although you'll probably be enormous to start with, things do settle down after a few weeks and you might be grateful of some different sized ones.

    Jeans rut
Anyone else stuck in a jeans rut?
Well that's all i ever seem to wear nowadays. Yeah i mean i wear smart clothes as in trousers throughout the week due to my job, then maybe skirts, dressed etc when i'm going out. But i'm talking casually, sometimes i may wear combats, sweatpants etc but jeans win. I can't seem to stop buying them i have hundreds of pairs, different styles, ripped, skinnies etc, i suppose i just want a different look.
    Okay rant over LOL! xxx
    Answer:
Agree with you Sadie! Work and dressing up i rarely wear jeans all the time but with casual outfits everything i think of goes with jeans!
And i cant stop buying them, during the last three weeks i have bought a pair of yanuk jeans, a pair or paper denim cloth, a pair of earl jeans and a pair of topshp baxters! Can you imagine not being able to wear jeans or a denim skirt for a month?

I know, tell me about it! ;)
    Answer:
I challenge you to avoid wearing jeans for a week. Lets see how creative you can be. I know i have so many clothes in my wardrobe that i would actually wear if i didnt wear my jeans. Instead they just hang there provding me with the pleasure of owning them!
What really annoys me is that i spend time thinking about what to wear (admittedly i enjoy it) and i want to look individual to a certain extent but then i wear jeans.
Practically everyone wears jeans- we should boycott them.
(but then id just stay at home in pyjama bottoms.....:banghead:
    Answer:
What a challenge!!!! Okay then i'll try! ;)
I'm the same as you though, deciding over what to wear then typically i tend to choose jeans!

    After some new boots
    Hi!
I've just realised that I have a gap in my wardrobe for some flat boots to wear during the day, so I'm on the hunt for a new pair :yay: I've had a scout round, but nothing really seems to be catching my eye.
What I'm after is a pair of flat, brown leather boots, heel no bigger than about an inch, and round toes. Heres the catch though - I really fancy ones which are a bit slouchy. I've seen loads of suede slouchy boots, but I want leather ones!
Has anyone seen anything like what I'm describing? They will mainly be worn just with jeans tucked in, very casual, but to stop the dreaded soggy jeans effect when the rain starts!
    Thanks,
    x ohara

    Answer:
thanks sadie, they are nice but not really what I am after. Definitly want a round toe, dark brown boots, probably a bit higher than those ones. I have the ts grey buckle boots which the hight is perfect, so something like those I spose, although not with the buckles!
    fussy, moi...:p
    Answer:
1 Attachment(s) Yeah i know what you mean. These ones are nice but unfortunately they have a buckle!
    Answer:
Thanks sadie, that is a little bit more of what I'm after. Should probably say that my budget is a max 100 pounds as well.
    Cheers!

...she says it hasn't turned up but I posted it weeks ago and everyone else has received theirs that I posted at the same time....
I don't want to refund as I definately sent it - she didn't request recorded delivery so I sent it regular post. Where do I stand here?

    O/T style diary
Just started using style diary to try and keep track of outfit combinations etc, and I'm wondering how you put it in the end of your post?
    Thanks!
    x ohara
    Answer:
To put a link in my post I created a thread in probs and testing using the hyperlink button on the reply page (its the one that has http:// on it).
You chose what text you would like in the first box and then paste the address to your style diary in the second.
Then is should come up looking something like this in the reply box :
    [ URL=http://forums.here.com ]Like This[ /URL ]
But without any spaces between the brackets. Then just copy the code above and paste it into your signature on options in your user control panel.
Hope that helps a little, I have no idea if it made any sense!
