Warehouse yoke V's Topshop Pansy dress ??
ooo bit of a dliemma, i got the Warehouse blue version of the Mischa dress that some of you have in cream, i love the colour I got it with the discount so it cost me just under £4.
Now this is slightly hypothetical as i havent got my hands on the Topshop pansy dress yet !, but i am thinking if i return it I could get the pansy dress from ebay. I can only have 1, i am so broke at the moment, but I am a bit worried that the Warehouse dress being silk, will tear, but on the plus side it looks good over jeans ahhhhhhhhh!!! any thoughts plse ??? thanku !

I went in the my new job for an or so today to pick up some forms and meet the girls.
On the way to the station I thought I was gonna be attacked by a dog.
A little Jack Russell :o caming running upto me barking and growling.
I froze, waiting for it to bite me.
Luckily it didn't. It stopped, growled at me some more, then ran off!!
My heart almost gave out!!!!
I got on the train which was empty. A guy got on at the next stop and tried to sit next to me (on a 2 seater seat) I put my bag down so he sat adjacent to me, leaning over and staring at me!!
I was so freaked out, he didn't look like a very nice character and stank of fags.
He followed me off the train and over to the next platform and was standing far too close to me :mad:
Luckily there were loads of people around and I called Mr Tiggs who told me to inform a member of staff.
But could I find anyone? :rolleyes:
I just made sure I stood with loads of people.
I think he soon got the message and buggered off!!!
I got to my new job (which I start next week) and was told I may not get paid til the beginning of july :eek:
Thats 6 weeks without wages!
Mr Tiggs told me not to worry about it.
On the plus side I will get 6 weeks worth of money :D
I met the girls who seemed lovely.
The girl who is slightly higher than me hardly said 2 words to me and seemed to have a real attitude!
Mr Tiggs reckons that she could poss be leaving soon as I'm getting paid way more than what I should be. So whether a promotion could be on the cards within the next year, who knows!!!
Oh and to top it all It's cold and rainy :(

the girl in your new office probably dislikes you because you've replaced her friend or something like that. When i first started my job everyone hated me because i was so different to the girl who did it before (wet lettuce type) in all honesty I think many still don't like me but they know I'm better at it than she was..and I too earn tons more than she ever did but it does cause a bit of jealousy I think in workplaces.
as for weirdo's on public transport..a woman got on my bus and asked if I wore high heels to impress men...I said no I wear them cos they're ace..:D

Hi there, I have an interview coming up for a job I'd really like to get and I'm looking to get a pair of glasses with plain lenses to make me look more intelligent and to wear on days when I fancy something different!
my tk maxx aren't doing them justnow and theres only one pair I could find on ebay that aren't that nice :(
does anyone know of any shops either online or otherwise that would sell them?

You can get just plain frames with glass from any opticians and theres lots of online shops too.
HOWEVER, and I dont want to sound nasty here, but! I seriously dont think wearing glasses is going to make you look any more intelligent, its more likely you might feel uncomfortable in them for an interview, like wearing a suit you're not used to IYSWIM?
Secondly, as someone who wears glasses and has done for most of my life I actually find it quite annoying when people wear them 'for fun'. I may well be in the minority here, but while I do like the look of glasses, I also think that to wear them unneccessarily is a bit odd as essentially they are a corrective item- would you wear a cast on your leg or braces just for soemthing different?

yes any opticians but you'll pay for a nice pair even without a prescription. I also hate to say it but I do job interviews all the time and I wouldn't think ' oh she's wearing glasses she must be intelligent'

but thats like saying because i wear glasses i shouldn't wear contact lenses sometimes to look different?

I have the gold version of this and I guess it's am okay everyday bag if you don't mind that the colour rubs off and leaves gold flecks all over you!! NOT a good look when you have a black top on! If you like the battered look then it serves its purpose.
I'm glad I got 40% off when the Miss S site had that glitch a few weeks back or I'd have been chucking this back on the counter asking for a refund - in fact I still might cos I've gone off it now anyway.

I'm desperate for a pair of bronze and a pair of black pumps which have heels that can be reheeled (v,heavy on my shoes) and are a narrow fitting. Best I've found are Clarks danube but they are a D width fitting and slightly too wide. They have to be leather as well, someone help please!!
