Keep or return (pics!)

NO.1. Ask :
Keep or return (pics!)
Hey girlies
I've just been reminded that it's one of my friend's 21'st this month, as well as 2 other friend's birthdays and my little brother's birthday all coming up soon. This will mean 3 nights out to pay for, and 4 pressies to buy  For this reason, I'm having to go through my wardrobe and try to decide what I've bought recently that I don't really *need*, so I can return it in order to free up some cash :o (I haven't worn any of it though, don't worry I'm not that much of a skank!)
So far it's all DP stuff I'm returning - my blue dress (I love it, but I can make do with my other dresses for now), yellow pointy flats (I have no real need for them or even anything to wear them with, I just liked them  ) as well as my black and brown printed dress (love it, but probably wouldn't wear it until summer anyway). I'm debating returning this top too - I love it and think it's really pretty, but it's a bit smocky and it would get me £25 back :cmdunno: It's practically the only printed thing I've bought this summer though, and I feel really boring that everything else is plain! I don't want to return it and then regret it and not be able to find it again
Anyway, I'll stop rambling now and would appreciate your opinions on whether I should keep or return it :D
Edited because I can't spell :o
Answer:
i really like it and i dont usually like prints. i think its cos of the outfit youre 'modelling'!
keep! :D
Answer:
i think that looks lovely on you GJ, id keep it. :D
Answer:
Personally chick I think its pretty but you have other pretty, more flattering :o tops ( i dont mean it doesnt suit or flatter you- just that you have other stuff which does more!) *backtrack backtrack* :D
Answer:
Well, you know I like it chick! ;) It's a lovely print and I love the colours too. Having said that, I've only worn mine once so far and it doesn't seem to be turning into a "favourite" or a "must have" despite seeming that way in the shop. I hate when that happens. :cmdunno: I think you'll just know what to do yourself. Keep it if you love it, return it if you're not sure. There will be other similar tops if you wanted one at a later date. But if you think you'll wear it lots, keep! God, I'm a rambler too, aren't I?!

Are you happy with how you look?
I posted earlier on Fashion about how I feel like I dont put any effort into how I dress, and how I wanted some boots to make me feel like I had sort of thing. Then when I was walking to the shop I seen loads of girls, who still looked lovely, in a simple way, with flats! I dont know why I keep thinking heels is the answer to everything as they're not very practical for me :cmdunno:

This got me to thinking about why I always think I dont look good in what I wear, dont get me wrong, I dont think I'm ugly nor am I lacking in confidence, but I think my eyebrows need a wax  and I could do with loosing a few pounds which may help make me feel 'better' in what I wear, and overall make me feel like I look better and will make better choices in clothes? :o

So, are you all happy with how you look?
    Answer:
I think you are either born with style or you arent. I was not.
    Answer:
I am happy with how I look BUT I'd like bigger boobs ( and aim to change this see new boobs thread) however if I could never get it done I wouldn't be swamped with misery. I think something key for me though is I was a fat and very not confident teenager and I lost weight all by myself and and I'm proud of that I have always excercise since and with the help of my husband I've really changed myself which of course makes me feel good :D
incidentally I wasn't born with style either. nevermind though!

I would like to be more attractive. I know theres no point wishing for something that you cant have though, and my dissatisfaction has lessened over the years because of this; in my teens I thought I was the ugliest person alive, but know I know that this probably isnt true, and Im ok with my looks most of the time, although I wouldnt say Im happy with them
    Answer:
I dont have style a-such but i look very much like 'me' people who know me and work with me tell me things are 'me' :cmdunno: :D
i always look a scruffbag no matter what i wear - you could put me in prada and i'd still look scuffy.
but i always hold my head up and stand straight which does wonders to any outfit!

    NO.3. ask :
What kind of look will you be going for this spring/summer?
I'm really struggling with what to get for spring/summer wear. I don't need a lot of 'outfits' as i don't go out loads but obviously want to look nice when i do but i find that some things are too boring and others too twee or try hard - i'm just a bit lost :meh:
I'm thinking of rediscovering my skinny jeans for spring with cute tops as i seem to be wearing dresses all the time lately and maybe cropped skinnies and camis for summer
What will you be wearing this spring/summer? Maybe described a few of your key outfits  Would be great inspiration for me and others i'm sure :D
    Answer:
i think i'd like to find some summer dresses - but then i say that every year :cmdunno: i'd definitely like to wear more light colours as i tend to wear either dark colours, or brights, and neither of them are particularly appropriate for summer days!
    Answer:
I've decided that I will be mostly going for luxe neutrals look as insipred by Bottega Veneta - whites, creams, taupe, generally nude shade, metallics. I have a few brighter pieces like my orange gold Erotokritos dress which should break things up a little.
    Answer:
I'm going to try a lot of white blouses and such with skinny jeans, simple dresses with flipflops, shorts and pumps, floaty things but quite relaxed. Won't be able to wear my boots :( Well, depends how hot it gets....
    Answer:
I like the idea of whites and creams (soft colours i guess) with dark denim and metallic or bright accessories - probably turquoise for me
All sounds lovely so far ladies

iv just been shopping and needed a white clutch bag, i cdnt find one anywere and im on a budget as it is, i wanderd into boots and spent £26! when I had only took £30 out of the bank as my "budget"
but anyway i was really desperate for a white clutch bag (as im sure some of you know, posted a thread about it the other day for sum pointers in the right direction). I just couldnt find one, untill I went to the bag shop that was just down the way from were i work, i kno all the ladies that work there and they are lovely! there was the most gorgious white leather clutch bag that was £27.50 and they were going to reduce it to £20 for me! but after spending so much money before and realising how small it was, barely fitting my keys and my phone in (i need my camra with me) I just couldnt see the logic in buying it :(, ended up settling for this bag that was a fiver which they gave me for £3.50! its a lot bigger, more practical and saved my budget
just looking at it now i feel ashamed as it really does look cheap. its PVC, wen you hold it up to the light you can see the outline of the contents of the bag, and it has cardboard in the flap! it really is like nails down a blackboard when I hold it. My mum says it looks fine. I think shes lieing
iv learnt my lesson of going into boots now :faint:
wow this was a big rant
    Answer:
I'm sure its fine - if your mom's anything like mine then she wold let you know if it wasn't. Plus its not like you spent a fourtune. I know what you mean about boots though!
    Answer:
Can you post a pic of it Bammy? Sounds like a bit of an annoying day for you :cmdunno:
    Answer:
Bammy - did you get my PM bout the Ravel clutch? :)
    Answer:
yeha ok ill try get one up for u all to see

    1 Attachment(s) Hi Girls,

I like this top, what do you think of it?

I seen it IRL and it's really nice.

However, again, it's another item I would probably be buying that I would have nothing to go with it... :faint: Jeans and flats, but I think thats a bit casual for it IYSWIM?
    Answer:
I think it would go really well with jeans and flats, or jeans and boots for winter- the detailing makes it dressier but the jeans would tone it down. That said you could probabaly dress it up too.
I love the detailing- but I cant help thinking you could get a simialr effect with normal beads, so it would depend on price for me!
    Where is it from?

Jeans and boots in winter! Fab idea! That would look very nice!

It's from River Island, it has a lace back though :cmdunno: Im anti-lace so hoping to descise that part with a vest top under it!
    Answer:
I bet it's from RI. I'm not too keen on it i'm afraid, sorry.:cmdunno:

ETA: oops, you've already said it's from River Island. :)

Edited again to say that i would probably team it up with a poloneck in the winter.
    Answer:
I'm not too keen on it either Piglet, sorry! :meh:
