Gauchos and ...
Apologies if we've already covered this, but I've had my gauchos (black Primark ones), for weeks now and much as I love parading round in them in the house, I need to find an acceptable way of wearing them out.
Please inspire me as I have no idea whatsoever about what to wear on the top half with them. :rolleyes:

now i'm just wearing a petit bateau vest but it's sooo boiling here! vest and shrug most of the time, but i treat them like jeans, as long as the top half is fitted.

Wrap tops could work well. I wear mine a lot with a little vest and a shrug. Here's a couple of tops i wear with mine/plan to wear :)
I think would could also look quite cool is to wear say a turquoise normal vest with a black (to match the gauchos) racer back vest over the top with maybe a belt if it needs it :)
As for shoes i wear mine with flip flops but also wear/plan to wear them with these....
I have Brown gauchos but when my black ones come this is my planned look....

Yep I was wearing my Miu Miu ones with my black trouser drainpipes yesterday and I thought it looked great. Wore a grey pashmina to tie them in.

Is it a close friend? You could get a really nice photoframe and put a collage of photos of her and you in it, of nights out etc. I did this for my friend's birthday as an 'extra' with her other pressies and she loved it!

i did think about that as she is always snap happy but i gave her a photo album either last year or the year before.

A nice department store like Debenhams or somewhere usually has them in their 'home' departments - I just got an A4 clipframe from a stationery shop though, as it could fit more photos in. As 21st is a special birthday, it would be something she could keep!
