How to wear aubergine tights?
Help! I've bought some patterned aubergine tights and I have no idea how to wear them. I tried wearing them with a black skirt and boots and purple jumper, and with a black skirt and top and black shoes, but I just looked like a goth. What kind of outfit would go with aubergine tights?
Answer:
They sound nice! Not sure about the outfit though! I think it might've been the purple jumper than made you feel gothlike! What pattern are the tights?
Answer:
The tights have a pattern of circular holes running down them, they're really nice. But even when I was dressed all in black they still didn't look right, so I slung my purple jumper on top to add a bit of colour but it looked even worse! The purple jumper normally looks great with blue jeans, it just didn't look nice with this outfit.
I don't have a purple or aubergine skirt, or a denim one, and I can't think of anything else that would look nice with aubergine tights.
Answer:
My friend has dusky aubergine tights and she tends to wear them with browny colours and similar shade tops. Me? um well I wear them with black, but then their purple and black stripes and well.. I am a Goth, so i'm not much help.

I know that this isn't a fashion related question, but my OH and I quite fancy going away next weekend somewhere sort of an hour / 1.5 hours outside of London, somewhere nice, relaxing, etc. Babbington House -is fully booked until Jan2006, Hotel Du Vin, Brighton is fully booked too. Tresanton, Cornwall - too far away for a weekend.Any ideas?
Answer:
I know you've said it's O/T already but there really are loads of threads on this on the Travel forum coz I've read alot of them! What about another one of the Hotel Du Vin hotels? There's one in Winchester and Tunbridge Wells. Drakes in Brighton is meant to be lovely and so is the Alias Seattle. Have fun! :)
Answer:
Me and my OH went to Windsor for the weekend at Easter. There's quite a few nice hotels around there - we stayed at the Manor Hotel which was really nice and I've had the Sir Christopher Wren hotel recommended to me.
Not too far out of London either?
I got them! I got them!

Do sexy thermal vests exist?
NO.5. ask :
Do sexy thermal vests exist?
I'm guessing the answer is no! But I really want one as I get so cold in the winter and I'm going to Amsterdam this Christmas and I'll turn into an icecube without! Does anywhere do a nice black camisole that's secretly a thermal vest as opposed to the huuuuuuge white marks and spencers ones?!
Answer:
hanro might?
Answer:
Don't The White Company do them? Also I bought some thermals for skiing last winter from Tchibo - they were thermals, no mistaking that but had nice lacy bits and I got them in baby blue and chocolate brown.
Answer:
...
actually.... marks and spencers usually do a lacy fine strap trimmed black vest - my mums got too use these as she has arthritis in her spine - they look like the normal decorative types.
Granted, they also have the Nana Moon collection in thick white.... failing that try DAMART!

Answer:
This is described as a thermal vest, but I don't know how warm it would actually be
