brown bolero (finally in my size!)
a black shoulder bag (£1.50!!)
In Miss Selfridge I bought:

Sorry I don't have a pic Pandoraboxes but I will try to give a better description:
It is half denim (at the top) then has brown fabric from half way down with lace at the bottom. It looks nicer on than it sounds here I am really pleased with it!

For the first time ever I'm not a student and annoyance of not having a NUS card just hit.....me and my friend were going to sneak in and get one this week (since I'm working in the Uni) but they've changed the system and we can't get one....boo.

I tried to use my old one last week but the cinema wasn't having a bar of it! Sometimes I still get away with it in DP or Topshop depending which branch I go to, they hardly glance at it sometimes. If they do and say it's out of date, I just say "Oh damn, I put the wrong one in my wallet - and they usually give me the 10% off anyway!!!
My friend is getting me an ID card for a college her friend works at so I can still get my discounts :lol:
My friend's still at uni and she just whips her actual uni ID card out at the till and I get the discount that way sometimes.

Ive noticed that they barely look at it as well :D the only ppl that actually look are cinema staff.
I've just been down there and asked a volunteer if they'd let me have a NUS but since she wasn't actually handing out the cards, she said 'if it was me i would give you a card' then she directed me towards the correct desk - huge queue there at the moment, so will go back down in a bit!
Its v.annoying for me as you have to show it when you want to go to the Student's Union Bar at night, so I will have to be signed in from now on rather than just show my card and walk in :rolleyes:

I bought a pair in pale creamy-camel in Kurt Geiger yesterday, ummm lovely but what can I wear them with other than skinny jeans? Will they look too silly for words with a skirt? I like the idea of wearing them with thick tights and shorts but I'm neither the age or shape to be able to carry that off.
The first Wiltshire bumpkin at work that mentions Puss-in-Boots or makes pantomine references of any sort will be taken outside for a good kicking.

I think they would look fine with skirts as long as they are the right material.
Cord would look good (possibly even cropped cord trousers to short a bit of boot off?)
A floaty skirt could look quite a good contrast with the hardness of the pirate boots?

I have a few skinny scarves, which I love, but atm only really wear round my hips as a belt. I am a bit too self-conscious to wear them round my neck/head in case I look silly. :o
So... How DO You Wear Yours? Just basically looking for ideas for more interesting ways to wear my scarves! :)

- a belt with jeans or funky pencil skirt
- as a scarf around neck (tied up into bow or something!) for that french look usually worn with dress
- or loose around neck!
