And I was so sure they'd look awful...
Just tried on those grey drainpipes from DP and they actually look nice! Which as daft as it sounds, is annoying because I can't really justify buying them! I'm skint as usual and have loads of other stuff I want.
Considering I don't usually like their jeans, they weren't in the tall section and I have bigger thighs than I'd like... now I can't stop thinking about them, how sad!
Answer:
You've fallen into the skinny jeans trap:mwahaha:
They are very flattering on aren't they :) I hope you are able to get them somehow!
Answer:
It comes to us all, after confessing last week I would never wear drainpipes unless with boots I am going to wear them out with heels, brainwashing that's what it is.
Answer:
Well certain people on this site might have convinced me that I don't look an idiot in my Primark ones, and that they might actually look good
I still haven't taken the tags off though, I'm not completely convinced yet!
Answer:
Goooooo on Smallgirl take the tags off.....you look sooooooooo good ;) :flirt:

I will have a couple of hours to kill before my train home.
Any nice shops really close to the station, in case I wander too far? Looking for skincare bargains/shoes etc
    Answer:
The bullring is a 2 min walk across from the station :D
There's loadssssss of shops in there as it's the main shopping centre and they also have screens with the train times in certains bits so you don't miss your train :)
    Answer:
    What Catwoman said! ;)
    Answer:
    excellent!
where's Primark.... and anyone know if there any YSL or Clinique GWPS offers on in any stores?
    Answer:
Primark is on New street. You could use the esculators in New street station to get to the palisades, do a left at the top and walk out of the palisades down the ramp - then turn a right and you should be able to see primark from there :)
There's selfridges in the Bullring so would probably worth checking there for beauty offers :)

    Help - 60's outfit needed!
    I have a party this weekend with the theme being 1965 - it's a 40th bday party!!
..I've looked up the sort of clothes that were in, but now need some help to find the right sort of outfit in the stores, before this weekend!!
What was in, in 1965 = mini-skirts, knee length boots, big hair, dark eye make-up, false eyelashes, etc..
..also the Beatles, Mary Quant dresses, the Sound of Music won best film, Malcolm X was assasinated, etc.
Now- any ideas for clothes to buy from high street stores??!! I don't have time to look around!!
    Thx.
    Answer:
OMG you have the perfect season for all this!
Think beatnik - topshop do a stripey dress for £40. Baker boy caps, false eyelashes and lots of black eyeliner.
So jealous i'd love to do this at the mo!
    Answer:
That sounds great.. have you got any links for that dress??
    Any other ideas anyone?
    Answer:
What Cat said! A GREAT time to do this, I'd go for backcombed hair with a wide black headband, lots of black eyeliner and pale lips then a monochrome mini dress and some long black boots, have Edie Sedgwick as your muse!
    Answer:
I can't do links to the topshop site but i bought mine off ebay :)

This dior outfit might be good for inspiration :)

Otherwise a cutesy a line dress with knee boots and a boufant up do would look nice with big earrings!

I am wanting a pair of burgundy court shoes with a low heel. Need them for in a couple of weeks.
Where is the best place to buy them from?
Been looking around but no luck yet.:(
    Answer:
Have you tried www.vivaladiva.com? You can actually search by shoe style, heel height and colour, so it makes life a lot easier if you're looking for something specific.

How Does Primark waiting list work?
This might seem like a really obvious question but in Trinny and Susannah's column in the Sun yesterday there was a number for the primark waiting list. Is this store specific?
    Answer:
I've never heard of this:confused: and I'm a regular at primark. I'm in Ireland though, maybe it's a UK thing. Sounds ideal.
    Answer:
I've never heard of it either. I don't know how it would work with their high stock turnover, they don't even have a website
    Answer:
Here's the Primark website but it doesnt say much really!
    http://www.primark.co.uk/index.shtml
    Answer:
As they won't even hold stuff for you instore i doubt they'd have a waiting list
    It's hardly chanel is it:lol:
Maybe that's the reason why you can never get what you want in there?
