NO.1. Ask :
missed delivery
Hey guys,
I missed the 2nd delivery of a miss selfridge item with home delivery network, and was wondering if I will have to pay for the 3rd delivery? It says I will have to ring and rearrange it. Anybody know?
Thanks!
Answer:

Quick opinions please - which outfit for tonight? (pics)
    Hey girls :)
Going out in 15 mins so need very quick opinions on the outfits below - which one looks best for going to see a live band with Mr GJ? I've got a total mental block and don't know what to wear!
    Nude bandeau on its own
Nude bandeau with belt - love this one, and the belt brings the outfit together more, but am worried about whether the belt makes it look too fussy, as the tops already quite detailed!
Red top with brown belt - maybe a bit plain? Plus top is a bit tights and I have belly issues!
    Thanks :D
    Answer:
Not a regular over here in fashion but I really like the red top :)
    Answer:
Of the 3 I would say the first one hun , the belt is a bit too much for such a delicate top IMO.
    Your legs look :faint: :faint:
    Answer:
I refuse to offer opinions until you donate me your legs :D Pah, it's unfair, I have leg jealousy :flounce:
Anyway, leaving that aside, I'd go for the nude bow top with the belt; don't think it looks too fussy 'cos you don't have much jewellery or such and it really ties the outfit together with the boots (I have the grey ones if those are the Topshop ones!).
ETA: Looking again, I really like the red one too! Hmm, no use at all.
    g_k
    Answer:
Gosh GJ, I can't decide! You look fab in everything! I think I like the nude top without the belt. Or the red top with the belt. I dunno! I'm no help. :head: Sorry! Have a good time though!

Hi, I really need your opinions on this one...I love it, but my housemates keep on about how ''unflattering'' it is... :(
    Answer:
The dress is lovely and flatters your figure - my only slight reservation would be the shoes - other than that you look fab!! Not unflattering at all!
    Answer:
Yeah, I'm a bit iffy on the shoes myself - I know they don't quite 'go' but I really want to wear it tomorrow, and can't seem to find a pair (in the 50 + I own! :o ) that would go/be comfy enough to be on my feet for almost 11 hours!
    Answer:
11 hours - what are you up to!!!! *curious!!)
Do you have anything in black - or some little ankle boots?
    Answer:
I've got lots in black lol - black strappy sandals...black skyscraper platform heels...black knee high boots...black pointy slingbacks (need reheeling) and my beloved black ankle boots but they broke a couple of weeks ago :boohoo:

Lily Allen Clothes in Store Today (9th May)
Thought some of you might want to know the lily allen clothes are in today in new look.
I've just been into the Sheffield branch and i was either too early or there was a serious lack of stock.
There were too maxi sun dresses in blue and pink with kinda graffati writing on them in the same colour and two smock dresses in a shiny material, one pink, the other a mix of yellow and brown. The rest of the stand was bare - room for at least another 4 items.
Is it supposed to be just the larger stores getting the range? Either way, don't think ill be bothering!
    Answer:
Having seen the range in LOOk, I def. wont be bothering.
What's with all the frills and odd dress lenghts?
    Answer:
I've only seen tiny bits of it on This Morning etc but wasn't impressed. It's a shame, as although I don't like her or generally what she wears, I thought there might be at least one nice dress, but not from what I've seen. There also seems to be a distinct lack of hype! I won't be going to my local NL as (a) I bet they don't have it in and (b) I would probably only have a nosey if it was online.
    Answer:
I quite like the dresses; although I'm not in the market for a prom dress at the minute!

But i think they're better designed, more original, are more labour intensive and much better value for money than the Kate Moss range.

I love the peep toe shoes, i want a red pair!
    Answer:
ooh cool - thanks for the reminder.
I quite like the mad quirkiness of this range but unfortunately my nearest NL burned down  and I am not sure I can be faffed to trek to Marble Arch as there'll probs be nothing left by the time I get there.

I realise this should be in food, but I ‘know’ you bunch of rarebreeds, and they might lynch me over there for saying I don’t know how to make a white sauce!!
Right, Hotboy is coming round to mine tonight, and I’ve said I’ll cook him something nice. There lies my first mistake. I can’t cook.
So, I need the help of you lovely ladies.
Can anyone suggest a simple, quick and easy yet impressive looking recipe that I could try ?! Bearing in mind that I don’t eat red meat, anything spicy or eggs. He eats anything you put in front of him so we’re ok on that score.
I’m also fairly useless at making sauces and knowing how long to cook things for, so any tips in those departments would also be greatly appreciated.
Help me be a culinary goddess ladies !!
    xx:kiss:
    Answer:
I'm sure this will eb moved shortly (into the changing room) but I just wanted to say that the food board isn't full of food militants - they will help anyone!
I just think its so silly that people get somewhat scared of other boards. You'd get to 'know' others if everything posted around more.
Sorry SP, this isn't just a rant at you, but just something of a sore point with me at the moment!! :o
    Answer:
Thanks cj, I was just about to post the same.
If you came over to FD saying, "I have a packet of Batchelors supernoodles, a tin of condensed soup and some value chicken breasts - how can I turn that into something worthy of Gordon Ramsay" then you might get a few helpful comments suggesting you don't bother but we're very friendly really :)
    Answer:
What about a really easy Tuna/Pasta Bake? Just buy a big jar of sauce, your pasta/tuna and some mushrooms and peppers, cooke the pasta and drain, sautee the veg until soft, throw into a lasagne type dish and stir in the jar of sauce, then gently stir in the tuna chunks, top off with loads of cheese and bung in the oven until cheese is toasty on top ?
Lazy and cheating, but also stress free and you can pretty it up with a love big salad and some garlic bread? and even do a tomatoe/mozzarella starter if you want beforehand and just drizzel over some olive oil and balsamic?
    :o that's one of my lazy specialities!!!!! :p :D
    Answer:
Why would anyone lynch you? This is my first post so forgive my ignorance, but does this really happen when you post to different forums here.

    I think I'm scared.
