I love people to buy me items i like but also like a little bit of surprise and hate just blatently coming out with it:o

My OH asked me to do this again this year as it means he'll have more of an idea of what to get me.

This morning there was a woman on the tube who was absolutely beautifully dressed with a fitted shirt, smart city shorts, smart shoes, classic here, nice hairdo etc. She looked like what I imagine some of you stylish lot would look like. Except that she was sitting there chewing gum, with her mouth wide open! Aaaaaargh! :sick:
I truly don't understand how people can fail to realise how utterly revolting it is! :sick: Personally it turns my stomach and it makes me feel sick, and if someone near me on public transport is chewing then I will usually get up and move if possible. But style-wise, it completely changed her whole look. If she'd been wearing the exact same clothes without the gum, I would have thought she looked incredibly classy and stylish. But because of this one little detail, my whole opinion of her changed.
A message to all the chewers out there: don't do it in public! You are making other people feel ill! :sick:

Yeah totally agree with the gum thing, its fine as long as its not loud or really visible!!
I think smoking is the worst thing, no matter how good someone looks if they're smoking it's just looks so disgusting, also you know they smell awful. It just ruins any effort they've put in to their appearance. No offence to any smokers, nothing personal!

........ my run of bad luck / brushes with crime just got even worse.
Fresh from my card getting cloned and my mobile being snatchd I have had my new sim card (which was being sent to me post mugging) intercepted and someone has made hundreds of pounds worth of international calls on it :eek: .
Plus the guy I was meeting for an interview this evening was off sick today, forgot my phone had been nicked and left two messages rearranging our chat for Friday. Of course the first I heard of it was when I arrived at his offices in Soho at 6 this evening :rolleyes: .
Oh well at least it left me down and out in the OC for a couple of hours and I managed to make some fantastic shoe boot purchases!
