Posting to Germany!?
I've just sold a dress on Ebay and just went to package it all up as payment was instantly recieved and the ebayer who bought it from me lives in Germany!!
I didnt say no oversea posting, but if she would have contacted me I would have said No. :o
How much extra does it cost to send to Germany? She's already paid so now I don't know what to do.
Answer:
I had a buyer from Germany once on ebay, too. If I remember correctly, it wasn't *that* much more to send it there than to somewhere in the UK. But I guess it depends on weight, etc. It was only a pair of jeans that I sent.

Thanks Kellybean, her address doesnt seem to be real IYSWIM? It's like a load of numbers... maybe that's what addresses are like in Germany :p
I've e-mailed her to confirm it so will see! I suppose I'll just have to send it now she has paid.
Answer:
It depends on the weight. For prices check the website.
Also there are restrictions on the size of the parcel. The width plus length plus height cant equal more than 90cm and no single dimension can be greater than 60cm. Buts that pretty big so I'd imagine its less than that!
You can also get international signed for an extra £3.50.
I'd tell her you didnt realize your item would attract international bidders and the postage she paid was for the UK only. Then its upto her if she wants to pay the extra postage. You can always relist the item if she decides she doesnt want to pay more.
Hope that helps :D

Answer:
I've never posted anything to Germany, but I posted a tee to Chat in France recently and it was £1.45 - so not that much of a difference from the UK really!
How much postage did you originally charge for the item? I usually charge £2.50-£3 for most of my items so I'd probably just send it to save the hassle of relisting, BUT if you didn't charge a lot then there's nothing wrong with emailing her like PiperRose said, and telling her that the postage was for the UK only, and that she'll have to pay a bit more if she wants it sending to Germany!
Has anyone seen these Dune wedges in real life?
NO.2. ask :
Has anyone seen these Dune wedges in real life?
Hey girls
Just wondered if anyone had seen these Dune wedges and could tell me what colour they are IRL?
It's just because they look brown to me, and I really want some brown wedges, BUT the Dune website describes them as 'camel' I already have these other ones (pic below) which are also from Dune and which are also described as 'camel' - so I don't want to end up with 2 pairs that are practically the same colour! I only want the 1st pair if they are definitely brown, as opposed to tan :D
Thankyou in advance!
Answer:
Hiya GJ  How are you?
I haven't seen the dune wedges so not much help there but can reccomend these brown wedges
They are comfy and stay on your feet ( I even managed a mile walk home in them one night from the pub!) and I think there is still a 20% discount working if you do like them.
xx

Hey hun! I'm fine thanks chick, how are you?
Aw thankyou so much for the rec, they're lovely! Good to know they're comfy too :D The platform looks a *little* bit higher than I was wanting (I am crap with wedges, I always feel like I'm on stilts!) but I'll defo keep them in mind if the Dune ones turn out to be no good! Thankyou hun!
Answer:
Hiya
I have the 2nd pair ( style wise ) but in a darker colur...a definite chocolate brown. the version you pictured is a very light tan in real light.
The top picture looks brown to me too...they've got very bad colour descriptions there :-)
Very comfy by the way

Thanks CG! I've just noticed the 2nd ones come in brown too, they're lovely - it's juat that I've actually already got the 2nd pair in the tan colour I pictured, so don't really want to buy the same ones again in the darker colour, I wanted something a bit different :)
The 1st ones do look brown in the pic don't they...it was just the description of 'camel' that threw me, as the ones I've got are camel too, but they look a totally different colour!
I wonder if Dune would be any help if I emailed them? *thinks*

I haven't seen them IRL but I like them from the pic :D And £8 for TS shoes - that's practically unheard of!
I think they'll be cute for summer, and they're cotton so less, um, sweaty :o than normal ballet pumps. Might get some myself actually!

Ok it defo wasn't there before (or maybe the prescription on my glasses has increased :o ).
Is it nice IRL?
Answer:
 Don't worry it was pretty much on the last page of dresses!
Its lovely - I'm to short for Maxi dresses (5ft 2) which is the only reason I didn't get it :boohoo: I love the print its lush!
xx
Answer:
Ahem well i'm slightly shorter than you, slightly ;). But i'm looking for the perfect maxi dress to suit my figure so might take it in a few inches if the length is the only problem.

The Changing Room - Now Open!
As per the majority of the poll, the o/t fashion board is now open :)
Answer:
I know  I just got very confused whilst refreshing a thread and clicked at the top to where fashion used to be and it took me to the changing room :faint:
Answer:
Berluddy hell, that was quick! :faint:
I notice all the O/T topics have been moved over there already...surely that's cheating, as it makes it look like it's really busy?

Answer:

I think It's a good idea, although I have noticed how quiet the salon has been of late. It used to be really busy!
