Winter hat help!
I don't normally do hats, but need to be a bit practical this winter as I'm going to Salzburg for the weekend and it's going to be a hell of a lot colder than Liverpool!
I've got a round face and was wondering what type would suit me. I love ones like these
but don't think they suit me, as they make my head look bigger :(
don't like ones like this
I like this one, but don't think it will keep me very warm This style tends to suit me, I think anyway!
Any ideas? I need to keep warm, and look cool!
If it helps, this is my winter coat
Answer:
I'm not very good with hats, but saw some like the last one you posted in Primark today, so you could get one (or two!) of those and then decide whether it suits you or not, didn't see the price but would imagine they'd be pretty cheap...
Answer:
I can't help too much as the only kind I've found that suits is a flat cap - I've got a slightly round/squarish face.
Can you go to a hat shop just try a load of different shapes on?
Answer:
I got a Russian/Dr Zhivago style fur hat from Primark a couple of weeks ago which I'm planning on wearing in Prague. It seems to be very warm, and is a versatile grey ish colour that would flatter most skintones I'd imagine :)
Answer:
Monsoon do some lovely ones in the style of the third one, all stripey and colorful.
Anyone going to Primark this week?
NO.2. ask :
Anyone going to Primark this week?
This is a begging thread.
Is anyone popping into Primark this week? I bought a really cute pink and grey striped tank top but stupidly got a size too big. I'm after a size 8-10 but they don't have any in my Primark. It's made from lambswool and is £6 (I think). If anybody could grab me one I'd be so so grateful. Thank you :)
Answer:
I only live across the road from Primark, so I'll pop in and have a look for you Toosh. I've been quite fancying it from yours and LooCee's description anyway, so I might pick one up myself if they do have them ;)
xx
Answer:
Oh Smallgirl thanks so much :D Fingers crossed! ;)

Any ideas how I can do it without looking a bugger?
Answer:
I've done it - I'm 5ft 3 and got some from New Look for £22 - they look great, even if I do say so myself!!

I dont do this often but I need to ask a favour :o
There's a black velvet jacket on the DP website, £45.
I ordered it in a size 16 and it fitted, but probably not enough to fit bulkier winter jumpers underneath. The cut on it was so lovely though! I took it back, but since havent been able to find the next size up ANYWHERE and they've all been out of stock on the website. I know they do this jacket in the shops, so if anyone is going to Dorothy Perkins already this week, could you please please look out for a size 18, 'Black velvet jacket with fluted back and stitch detail on seams. 100% cotton. Dry clean only. '
If you managed to grab one for me I would of course send you the payment plus p+p ASAP, or even if someone could just tell me where they had spotted one, that would be greeeat. I'm so worried they will all sell out and I'll never get one :boohoo:
Here is a visual aid!
Thanks!
Answer:
I don't think I've seen that in my local DP because I'm sure I would've taken a fancy to it ;)
Will have a look on my lunchbreak though...most probably tomorrow or if not then the day after :)
Good luck hun

I know that Topshop do this, but I'm not sure if DP does too. Do you know whether you can just ask instore for them to get an item sent to the store for you?
Answer:
Oh, can no one help me :(
Answer:
I can't help unless you have no luck til the end of the month - i may be going to town then :) If you still have no joy i'll have a nosey then for you :)
The thing(s) you most regret buying in your wardrobe....

The thing(s) you most regret buying in your wardrobe....
Having been inspired from the 'Expensive/cheapest thing in your wardrobe' thread- i thought this would be fun.
Mine would have to be my four burberry bags that i would never dream of carrying now and that cost me a bloody fortune! Still like the leather more classic looking one i have- but am really put off by using them!
Answer:
nothing I can think of really... I like to think that i'm really careful when I buy most of my things... but then I just get rid of the stuff I don't like anymore or regretted having bought in the first place.
Maybe a couple of tops that 'seemed like a good idea at the time' or something that was cheap in the sale and I bought just for the sake of it... but nothing really significant or expensive.
Answer:
Mine would have to be my Matthew Williamson skirt (his debenhams range not the 'proper' label).
It's white with silver sequins around the bottom and i love it but it was £65 and i've only worn it for a few hours:o Wore it today but was paranoid about getting it dirty when going up the garden as it's handwash only:rolleyes:
Answer:
oh....and various items i bought in the sale cos i thought i was getting a bargain but have never worn! This include a black Keren Millen dress £150 down to £45 that iis probably too small for me now.

I'm starting to think i've got a doppelganger on here... I have a black KM dress that was about £145, reduced to £40 in the sale... and probably doesn't fit me now either!!!
