Question for wrap dress fans....
I LURVE my wrap dresses, they are so flattering and easy to wear.
BUT (and is it just me with a funny old bod :o :o :o ) but I ALWAYS have to wear a brooch or pin between the ahem boobies to stop the top from gaping and revealing my almost magnificent cleavage .
Do you have this problem too?
I am getting a lovely collection of brooches (New Look had some fab ones in recently).... :p
If I weren't so lazy I'd sew poppers on them...

PS BTW, the DVF wrap dress I got from Ebay is soooo lovely it almost made me :boohoo: when I tried it on! Instead I :faint:  :great: :yay:
Here it is:
worth every penny :o :o :o
Answer:
I tend to wear something under mine to be honest - that DVF one is gorge I bet you are pleased you went for it - it is gorge!
Answer:
Am so glad you like the DVF one! :)
Did you manage to not pay customs?
Answer:
I don't have massive boobsticles, but I usually pin my wrap dresses just incase. I get paranoid about the tie bits coming undone giving my work collegues an eyeful .. :o
Answer:
oooh, goody, glad it's not just me! ;)
No customs charges and it arrived in time to wear out on Saturday night! :yay:

Minky's splurge
NO.2. ask :
Minky's splurge
Following on from my "what shall I splurge on" thread, I have a rather yummy update to impart!
I have splurged on two items :o :o :o with a third in the pipeline  :p
The first one was a lovely Diane von Furstenberg dress that I got from New York via Ebay:
And on Saturday, Mr Minky bought me some gorgeous diamond studs (1.07 carats each but they look bigger than that as they are wider than they are deep, if that makes sense) :girllove: :heartpop:.
I really have had the most amazing week, and am now waiting for it all to go horribly wrong .
And the third thing is, inspired by a bagger suggestion  I am going to get the HKBL to make me a Birkin (too tight for a real one!) in leopard ponyskin and black leather) which I will one day pass on to my bubby who will no doubt inherit my leopard obsession (I believe it's genetic...).
I'd take pictures of the earrings but they are NOT coming out of my ears and my ugly mug would frighten you all away!
Minky (totally loved up!)
Answer:
Sounds like a very nice haul. :)
And a very generous Mr. Kiwi. ;)
Answer:
Lucky you Minky!
Have you seen these ?
Answer:
Well done you Minky, sounds like you've had a lovely spree! :D
I'm sure the week won't go all pear-shaped, so don't worry!x
CG
x
PS, couldn't get Mr. Minky to have a word with Mr.CG re diamonds at all perhaps?? ;) xx
Answer:
Sparkliness, you are WICKED!!!!!. As a matter of fact I have tried those on several times :o :o but they aren't all that comfy.
I DO however, have my Russell and Bromley shoes with a wee bit of leopard on them ;), though I'm thinking it might be a bit OTT.
On Sat night I wore plain black mules and that worked well.
I will be at the Metro on Sunday so might try them on again....
Minky :D
Have I really missed these?
NO.3. ask :
Have I really missed these?
I noticed in the last week or so that topshop have brought out some ponyskin leopard print ballet pumps... they're quite pricey at £45 but pretty good quality, although I'm not particularly bowled over by them.
Anyway, I was in the Oxford Circus branch where I saw cow print ones and they were 10x better than the leopard!
I have to have these shoes... I haven't seen them in any of about 3-4 branches I have been to lately, has anyone else seen them?
They were in the OC branch, last chance to buy section... does this mean they have had them for a while? I did try the ordering system but they had no stock and nothing on order :(
If anyone spots them in the near future, pleeeeeease let me know!
Answer:
Well I buy things fromt he last chance to buy section of my TS, and it's always stuff they have a lot of in other stores not local to you, but they don't have them in local ones if you get me. Being in London though there must be a TS that has them
Answer:
They come in Leopard, Zebra and Cow and have been on the website for a couple of weeks. TS Shoe shop in Manchester definitely had them 2 weekends ago. They felt like they'd shred your feet in no tme though, I wasn't impressed.
Do you like these shoes
NO.4. ask :
Do you like these shoes
Here
Well do ya?
Answer:
Gut reation - I'd have to say no :(
But I have some leather ones in the same style but with a thin strap rather than a buckle and I love the style of them, sooooooo comfy. It's the colour, material and buckle that put me off
Answer:
Cheers for that.
I'm really undecided, just need help to finally decide:rolleyes:
Answer:
Sorry, no, not very keen on that buckle.
Answer:
2 against so far:uzzle:
Long Knitted Cardigan/Coat
NO.5. ask :
Long Knitted Cardigan/Coat
Has anyone seen any long knitted cardigans/coats this year?
I don't really need a coat as such, but a long cardi would be ideal to throw on when I have to venture out in the cold.
I'm looking for something preferably ankle length.
I've tried everywhere I can think of online but no joy. :(
Answer:

Answer:

Answer:

Monsoon
I :throb: the monsoon one! Might need to invest! :p
ETA: Ooh, sorry, the monsoon one doesn't seem to work. It's under knitwear in the women's section and is the Bea Boucle Cardigan. I love the teal colour.
Answer:
I've seen lovely ones with a handkerchief hem effect in Marks Spencer :o
Grey, camel, black, and £45. They honestly look exactly like the ones in Joseph:eek:
