Answer:
I'm pretty sure Selfridges in Manchester already have had them for weeks. That's if I'm thinking of the right bag - the small one with a tassel, right?
Answer:
Hi Ellie,
Funny you should mention the aubergine avaline, I was stroking the only one left in Bluewater last night
They had the fuchsias too but not getting any chocolates for a while..... It's indeed my birthday tomorrow, good memory!
A choc avaline is on my wishlist but I think I may want a holiday too and can't afford both so it's make my mind up time, but the bag is lovely and bigger than I thought...hmmm.
I can pm you details of Bluewater store if you like?
Answer:
The chocolate ones have been at Canary Wharf for a while as well...I can't remember the name of the store but they also had the Pheobe before the supposed 'release' date.
The Araline is lovely, although the leather seems quite thin - I think just because it is sitting next to the Roxy etc. bags which have relatively thick leather.
Bluewater always seems to have the 'last of' certain bags - I had to hike all the way out there on a Friday night to get my Joni!!
Answer:
hmmmm - curious. they were meant to only be coming out at the beginning of Sept and I haven't seen any pics of celebs wearing them (which I would have expected if they had been out already or sent in advance to celebs).
there are two bags with a tassel - one is smaller with no pocket on the front and the larger one with the pocket (the one I want). which ones have you guys seen ?
LauraJane - if its the bigger one please PM me the details of the store - I don't think I could wait until Oct/Nov !!

have they completely and utterly lost it? now i don't always like the outfits they suggest but this one's something special. my grandmother wouldn't be seen dead in this let alone me! and yes, this is from the current issue, page 84.
edited to make picture less enormous
Answer:
Do you think it is the waistcoat or the shapeless skirt that are to blame? OR THE TWO OF THEM! (I dont mind the top though and the shoes!:o )
Answer:
God Annanas, you're so behind with fashion. Didn't you know Frumperama is the new Victoriana? ;)
Answer:
Ok...maybe not the shoes...just had another look and they are truly yucky! the colour is the only nice thing about them imho :(

Primark black wrap dress?
NO.3. ask :
Primark black wrap dress?
Hey,
does anyone have any idea how much these cost?
and would they be acceptable to wear to funerals?
I have two funerals to go to in the next few weeks and I'm really stuck for what to wear.
Are these still about in the shops?
Sorry for such a :( topic.
Thanks in advance.
Answer:
I think they are around £8 :)
They would be fine for a funeral - i bought one from topshop last year for my grandad's funeral. Just pop a vest underneath if it crosses too low or use a brooch to make sure it doesn't flap open like i did :)
I wore mine with black knee boots.
Sorry to hear about you having to go to a funeral, it's never an easy occassion :higgies:
Answer:
Id wear it with beige or cream long trousers as to avoid an all-black look... and I am sure it would be appropriate as long as there isnt a too low v-neck/cleavage on show imho :)
Answer:
£6 for the shorter ones with short sleeves I think... and £8 for the dressier ones.
I think they'd be ok to wear to a funeral... although if I wore the shorter one I would wear it over trousers or something.
Answer:
They had these in my local branch last weekend - so they are probably still around....
Cleavage is "OUT"!
NO.4. ask :
Cleavage is "OUT"!
It has been in the press and on tv in the past few days that cleavage is "out"!
This is supposed to be in reaction to the various jordon/pammy/footballers wives/soap stars that flaunt their cleavage and therefore have made it all a bit 90s and cheap. Also the new wonderbra campaign is a lot more subtle and the old "hello Boys" campaign is out.
Personally, Ive never been one to flash my cleavage, not because of fashion but because I always end up feeling a bit tarty. I like low cut tops but i find the whole wonderbra thing all a bit chrissie of eastenders!
What do other baggers think?
Answer:
Totally agree! Never have been one for cleavage, think it makes any outfit look cheap! Especially when its very obvious that the person has a wonderbra on! I hate those things! However i do quite like the basque/corset look when you show a bit of boobage but it's not really for me!
I dont really have much of a cleavage anyway and have embraced the fact that i look much better and sexier going for the natural look with no bra a la Ms Moss and othe model types instead of trying to force a tiny cleavage with 5 pads in each side of my bra!! I do wear low cut tops but they hang differently because i have small boobs and i dont wear a bra with them.
Answer:
having 32F boobs I haven't got much choice!
Answer:
I'm 32A

I couldn't have a cleavage if I tried so it makes no difference to me!
Shoe size question
NO.5. ask :
Shoe size question
My Topshop over the knee boots just came and although i've yet to try them with skinny jeans i quite like them!
I ordered a 6 usually a 6.5. I have size 7's in my heeled Topshop buckle boots. Now they aren't tight in foot length but feel rather snug.
Do you think they will stretch being suede or should i see if i can get hold of a pair of 7's?
I won't be able to get to town til the end of the month to try 7's on instore so i'm in a bit of a dilemma. Plus i got the boots on discount so if i return them and wait til i go instore i won't get my discount. Should i be cheeky and phone up customer services to explain the situation and see if i could return them a little later if needed?:o
Thanks in advance for answering my silly question:o
Answer:
Hi! :)
My suede boots have given in a little bit but my suggestion is:
Try some thick woolly socks on and walk around (in fluffly carpet in case you want to exchange boots) and see whether they feel confortable or not.
Leather usually gives in and so does suede especially after the wet days...but do make sure they are confortable and dont hurt you while wearing somehow thicker socks and that should help you make up your mind :)
Answer:
Thicker socks may stretch them too, will try that;)
I only wear thin socks normally. It's weird they are fine length wise but just feel a little too 'snug' and i haven't got wide feet, usually have the opposite problem:confused:
Thanks huni!
Answer:
Nope just tried them properly and they are defo too tight:boohoo:
Will have to phone customer services tomorrow:rolleyes: :(
