Why oh why do I get these moments of madness??
Whilst browsing the Topshop site yesterday my common sense and my usual ability to dress for my body shape disappeared and a I listened to the little voice inside me that said "If you buy the Topshop Baxters your thighs will shrink by several inches and you will look better than you have ever looked before" and even worse I listened to the voice that said "Puffball minis are not just for the young and svelte... puffball minis are FUN and should be worn by everyone".
Mr Parcelforce delivered said items this morning.

Needless to say I look ridiculous in both and I now feel very silly.
:o :o
Does anybody else ever have these moments and end up with highly unflattering outfits just because they loved the item so much on the hanger?
Answer:
Yes, cue trips back to return all the lovely goodies.

    Fur
Let's have everyone's views on wearing fur for fashion purposes.
I wouldn't wear it myself in the first place, but to be honest it's expensive and I don't know many people who could really afford it anyway. Money aside, I think it looks really poncy.

    Answer:
oh dear - this row again :(
I'm not having a row at all. I just stated my opinion and asked for other people's opinions out of interest. I'm not going to start shouting at anyone.
    Answer:
    Can. Worms. Open.

No you might not but this has been done to death and it just gets everyone upset.
    Answer:
There are some subjects which always get heated round here:
    1) Fur
    2) How much someone has spent on a designer here
    3) Chavs
    4) We are all individuals....
It's just that some topics are highly emotive, that's all :) My personal view is that I can't bear cruelty to animals (I buy cruelty free beauty products and have done for years), but on the other hand I think nothing of wearing leather so I'm a hypocrite :)

Ebay disappointment and THOSE FCUK Tshirts
    Hello!
Just wondering if I get a bit of help on 2 issues!
I (reluctantly) bought a used but in good condition **** tshirt from an Ebay seller which arrived this morning. Admittedly it is in good condition although smelt a bit fusty  HOWEVER! It had foundation round the rim of the neck  Surely the seller could have checked the condition of the top before sending it to me?
Now I know **** tshirts have a bit of a bad reputation on these boards :p Mine isn't a **** [insert word] type one, but is of the same design. My question is, if anyone will admit owning one (in their misguided youth perhaps :p ) - or you can pretend it's a "friend" who has one  or maybe just maybe you have one and like it :yay: IF you have one: what is the length like?
I got mine out of the parcel and thought it looked a bit mishaped  Tried it on and despite being a "M" - my standard **** size it barely covers my belly  Is this the design of these tshirts because they were from the Britney era OR has the previous owner ignored the "handwash only" sign?
All in all, a bit disappointed. Should I tell the seller?
    Answer:
Ive seen **** t shirts in the shop and they always look regular length to me, sounds like she's shrunk it, and to send it unwashed complete with makeup stain is really shoddy!
    Answer:
Yep she's shrunk it, Silly bint. I'd be sending her a very vocal email about the foundation!!
    Answer:
Either that or its a fake. I bought a t-shirt in Turkey (not ****) that did exactly what you described for yours, and they were selling fake **** ones too.

I have 3 **** tops and all are in good condition even after having for over a year, my sis on the other hand brought a fake one, which is short in length and the ends turns out.
I'd say its definitely a fake!

    The trend for Pom Poms
Will you be buying in to this trend?
    Answer:
    Well, I actually already have!
I first saw this in last month's Elle magazine, then tracked in down in several HM stores, finally scoring the last one in the Knightbridge stores. Obsessed, moi?
oh, and i have the matching pom-pom bracelet too.
Granted, it's not everyone's cup of tea, and it defo looks better IRL. I am also LOVING the Dior pom pom hat (like their mohawk ones 2 years ago) but am not about to pay £208 for it!!!!
    Answer:
I was in my local H and M and you can get a pom pom here charm thing which was pretty nice. They also had some nice velvet bags (I was tempted).
    Answer:
Ooh I like that PetitCherie! Sounds like they are long gone from HM though... :(
    Answer:
Sorry, I think it looks a bit... scary?
And if scarfs could be ill, it looks very ill.

    NO.5. ask :
Sorry - so OT but mp3 help anyone?
Im so sorry to put this in fashion but I havent had a response in gadgets (probably because I'm a complete technology ee-jit :o)
Does anyone have an mp3 player that just uses Windows Media Player, rather than its own software? I just wanna put my random happy songs straight onto a player to take on hols :(
    Answer:
You don't even have to use iPod software to get songs on an iPod. You just mount it as a drive and drag songs across in Windows Explorer. There are ways around most things. I have an iPod so probably not the best person to personally recommend another player. Try this website - http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/ if you use the guide at the top of the screen, you can specify your requirements and it will recommend appropriate models for you.
Why don't you want to use software anyway - it's no big deal? Do you already have the songs saved on your computer? What format are the songs?
    Answer:
Hi Curls I have loads of songs in my windows media player from all over the place (ripped from friends cds etc) so I imagine they'd be in different formats (but I'd have no idea:o ) Having done searches in gadgets I just got confused about the different software that comes with each device, and wanted to stay with my familiar windows media player.
    Answer:
an ipod won't touch a wma file (quite logically really), but i really wouldn't get too hun gup on that format, mp3 is by far the most common one. there are countless applications to convert them anyway.
    Answer:
What annanas said - I wouldn't worry too much about the format - there are loads and loads of programs to convert songs.
