Help! Bag crisis!

NO.1. Ask :
Help! Bag crisis!
Hope someone can help me... half a bottle of water decided to leak out all over the bottom of my tan mulberry roxy - it's all dried out now and hasn't lost it's shape but there's a big tidemark all the way around it.
Any ideas as to what I can do to make it disappear?
All advice gratefully received, I'm really upset! :(
Answer:
I'm not sure about the Roxy but my Mulberry Joni has some care instructions which say:
"Should your bag get wet, pack loosely with paper and allow to dry naturally. Never place in direct heat."
And that's it! The leather is very different though...
Not very helpful, sorry :(
Answer:
Are you sure it's fully dry? Water really shouldn't stain it permanently
Answer:
Could you maybe try taking it to a dry cleaners and see what they say? I dont know anything about posh expensive heres but if its made of leather, I'm sure the cleaners should be able to advise.
Answer:
saddle soap and leather polish should make a world of difference.

LizzieB how was your celeb wedding?
I seem to remember you posting about a very grand wedding you'd been invited to and you were stressing over the dress.
What did you wear in the end?
And was the wedding *all that*? What were all the fashionistas there wearing?
    Gossip please!!
    Answer:
    ooh,gossip,do tell!!!:marriage:
    Answer:
ooh, come sit by me and tell all:lol:
    Answer:
Oh yeah I remember that thread ....was it any good and can you TELL us whose wedding it was now??
    Answer:
    Hello!
Well I have 2 posh weddings, one in nice this weekend, and then one next weekend in henley.
So, nothing to report as of yet!
This weekend I am wearing a taupe DVF chiffon dress with my very wide corset belt, goldy miu miu shoes, and gold jewellery (i never found a gold fascinator elliecat, if you are here :( ).
Next weekend, I have decided to cock a snoop to the whole thing, so to speak, and am wearing a £14.99 puffball HM dress with the same miu miu shoes (slightly worried as there will be lots of the same people at both, and i will be busted...) slightly different, but still gold jewellery, etc... I am still stressing a bit over wearing black etc, but the ceremony is just for the family, then everyone else is coming to the reception, so it's not like it's a mornign wedding in a big country church. Am hoping it will be ok...
And yes, big 'n bouncy, it is the wedding you think - do you know him?

    70s night!
    hey everyone;)
I have a 70s themed work party at the weekend and as I wasn't around in the 70s have know idea where to start.
Any idea's on colours I should wear and accessories I could buy? I don't want to go to overboard so maybe a few 70s themed accessories would be best.
I'm utterly useless when it comes to themed parties:rolleyes:
    Answer:
I would go with flared jeans, a white top, gold shoes and bangles, maybe a headscarf.
    Charlies angel flicks!
    Answer:
I like the idea of this as well. Big flares or possibly even a catsuit/jumpsuit if you can pull it off. :)
    Answer:
If you want to wear something outrageous that you don't think you'll wear again, it's well worth hiring something from a fancy dress shop. You have to pay a deposit, but the hire cost is cheaper than buying something new.
    Answer:
just dress up like ABBA :D

Has anybody been able to get these yet?
I have looked for them in 2 Primarks near me now and haven't seen them yet. Does anyone know how much they are?
    Answer:
    *Bump*
    Anyone??
    Answer:
Don't think they're in the shops yet...with so many people on here who are interested I'm sure we'd have heard by now :)
    Answer:
I'm sure someone posted that they wouldn't be in the shops until September, so they might turn up soon.
    xx
    Answer:
I think they were supposed to be £25 but I've not seen them yet

    what to wear
Okay, I'm new to the fashion forum but I think I need a revamp.
I wear jeans all the time, plenty different stlyes but it's jeans, jeans and more jeans. Normally I wear a vest top or fitted tshirt and I'm never out my trainers. I refuse to totter round in my high heels to take the kids to school and nursery
How to I rejig my wardrobe without making it an obvious image overhaul?
Feel free to post pics :)
    Answer:
    hiya vicky...welcome!
how about ballet pumps as an alternative to trainers? im lusting after some french sole ones myself right now....
    Answer:
with long jeans or cropped ones?

    Answer:
Replace your trainers with some funky flats? Shelleys and Schuh always have some nice ones in...
    Answer:
For a subtle change i'd say buy some....
*flat pointy shoes to poke out from under your jeans
    * a nice blazer maybe in cord to wear over your t shirts
*some nice accessories - belts, earrings, necklaces :)
