We have had a bit of a windfall, and I am going to treat myself to something GORRRRGEOUS!!! Only I'm not quite sure what exactly....
ATM I'm thinking LARGE diamond stud earrings - at least the size of my engagement ring (just over a carat) each side.
Though, there is always the attraction of a designer here, or perhaps a new pair of Choos.
What would YOU buy?
Minky
PS the only thing I really NEED is a trans-seasonal jacket... :p which I am thinking of doing a personal shopping session at Selfridges to acquire.
Answer:
I love the idea of diamond earrings, i would defo go for that if i had my ears pierced.
In my opinion you can't go wrong with them, they never date and are timeless classics :)
Answer:

Seen 2 pairs of boots I like from Russell and Bromley and want some opinions on which you think are nicest. One pair is the tan slouchy pair and the other is a pretty similar shape but in a metallic pewter-y colour. You can see them in the adverts at www.russellandbromley.co.uk and I think they're also under ladies shoes - called Fry-baby and Crushable. Sorry, don't know how to do a link.
I know part of it's a usefulness thing but I already bought a staple pair of dark brown slouchy boots this year so they wouldn't have to go with everything. Just which do you prefer basically 'cause I'm torn between the two!
xx
Answer:
I'm no use, I like em both!

The tan ones are probably more useful, but Stuart Weizman shoes are so well made and comfortable and those boots are stunning! Get em both!
Answer:
I love the metallic ones, so different to anything that is around at the moment!
Answer:
I like them both, but think I prefer the first pair.
Answer:
Get those metallic ones, they're fab. And then get the other pair as a treat for getting your job ;)
g_k
O/T but woohoo!

Sorry this isn't really fashion but I just wanted to let everyone who helped with my interview outfit dilemma know that I got the magazine job!! My chance to use this smilie: :whoop:
So thanks everyone - it was obviously my fantabulous outfits that did the trick ;)
Think I'm going to treat myself to a celebratory shopping spree (already getting ideas with my new boots thread). A new job is always a perfect shopping excuse I think...
