I'm going to be in Covent Garden over the weekend, where I havent been in years. Time is going to be limited ( I also want to nip over to Oxford St), so has anyone got any recs. as to the shops which are an essential to go into? I love pretty, girly pieces.. or am I forgetting, and Covent Garden is just full of high st stuff?
Thanks! I'm just after saving some time..!

It's mostly high street stuff nowadays in Covent Garden though you can pick up some cute jewellery from the stalls. Oxford Street too is all high street names - but there is Selfridges of course.
I was on the Fulham Road today and there were some seriously lovely shops - there were some especially lovely girly bits and bobs in the Butler and Wilson shop there. Try the Kings Road too, fair bit of high street but some lovely one offs too.
Answer:
there are a few little boutiques-apple tree, chilli pepper, miss sixty on neal street that sell lots of girly things.
the hm in covent garden is a must!
Answer:
Yeah go to hm there definitely. I wouldn't spend too much time there though- save it for Oxford Street (I think the shops are much better there). I think Camden market is better personally but that is not to everyone's taste.
Hope you have a good shopping trip!
Answer:
I haven't been to CG for a while but I love neal street (I think it's neal street) and always head that way first... they've got a great urban outfitters there and I also like the big diesel store, shellys, carhartt and offspring for their trainers.
The office shoes is a decent store but I always find it overcrowded and i'm no longer a real big fan of them anymore anyway... and there are more office shoes stores around now too.
The HM in covent garden i've always found to be fairly quiet and tidy and quite a big store.

    NO.3. ask :
Green Pointy toed suede kitten heeled ankle boots
I saw a nice pair of LK Bennet boots that almost fit the bill but they were knee length. I am after a pair of green pointy toed suede kitten heeled ankle boots (or a pair of knee high boots that won't prejudice those with a less-than-skinny calf) - has anybody seen any.
Ideally I would like an olivey green or a British racing green or an apple green but am open to all greens (though florescant isn't my bag!).
Can any of you lovely peeps help?????? I just want a bit of colour under my jeans........... Is that a lot to ask?
    Answer:
These are gorgeous but unfortunately are neither ankle length or kitten heeled! Sorry that isn't much help but they are fab!
    Answer:
Those are absolutely stunning happybunny!!!!!! I'm in lust!
sadly, even if i could fit my, er, healthy calves into them I am not sure I could walk in such a high heel - I am getting better at heels (and have recently graduated to proper heels having been an avowed kitten heel girl for years). Those boots fit into my 'if only...' category of clothes that I would love to be able to get away with.
The hunt goes on - I love boots so much and have been after green ones for ages - and wellies won't do! - I keep hoping Boden will do them as they do some very nice and relatively cheap boots (I don't believe in scrimping on footwear so am happy to pay serious money for my dream pair)
Thanks for giving me some foot porn to drool over in the meantime though hon!
    Answer:
I can't help in the boot search, I just wanted to say that I want those boots!
Unfortunately my calves won't fit into those and I'm likely to break my ankle with heels that skinny! Shall happily drool over them though.

    Birthstone rings
Does anybody know where I can get birthstone rings from? (Ruby)
    TIA!
    Answer:
My first thought is Argos :o but I'm ruby too, and plenty of jewellers do ruby/ruby and diamond etc rings!
    Answer:
Does it have to be a specific 'birthstone' style ring - ie can it not just be any ruby ring?
    Answer:
    I guess so sparkley!!
I didn't actually know what birtstone I was until yesterday!
So yes a ruby ring would suffice doesn't have to be specific, I've been looking for a nice ring to wear so a ruby one may fit the bill!
Will check out a few jewellers (And Argos ;):p)
    Answer:
    The QVC website?
Sounds like the sort of thing they'd do.

    O/T What're you doing/been doing today?
I know we've already had a weekend plans thread, but my plans never seem to happen and I'm feeling nosy, so I thought I'd see what you're all up to/have been up to!
I got up super early this morning, had a shower, ate a nectarine and then went to yoga.
Went via Asda to the police station to make a statement about my stolen wallet  and now I'm cooking dinner - vegetarian enchiladas with grilled/roasted spicy veg, yum!
Will probably spend the afternoon infront of a film - was meant to be working tonight but they've cancelled on me cos the bar's not busy enough, apparently.
So all in all not very interesting!
    Anyone else?
    Answer:
Today I got up early to go to my Ice skating class, only to find there was no lesson today (I wasn't told last week as I wasn't there- at the V festival) And so all the kids played games on the ice =)
Back home for now, going to catch up on Lost and Hollyoaks, and then tonight I'm going out for drinks and then to see Stephen Holbrook ;)
    Answer:

Waiting for the shops to open at 2.00 now and i'm going to primark for a look. When i go home later i must sort the photos that have been piling up and put them in albums. I got up early and went on eBay for a while. Someone is watching my skirt so I'm really excited as it's the first thing I've sold on eBay. Then I had my brekkie and went to a body conditioning class. I had lunch when I came back and since then I've been looking on style diary and now I want to go shopping!
