Oh. My. God.
The new primark opened in leeds today :D
It's huuuuuge, 3 floors (must be an 'A') and I must admit, I got out of work for the pilgrimage... Much better than any other primaster I've visited (makes the barnsley mecca look measley in comparison)
It was FULL of nasties (people not stock!), although I did spot some potential baggers ;) Apparantly, there were queues at opening time and had I known it would have been sooo busy I'd have got there early bcos of variety.
Absolutely worth a visit tho, it had most of our must haves (but no pirate boots)
I'm exhausted
Curls, Meli, get yourself done there pronto!
Answer:
The nearest primark to me is about 100 miles away... but my parents live near leeds so i'll have to pop in next time i'm home and see what all this fuss is about ;)
Where is it?
Answer:
Cool! Cheers for the heads up! I'm supposed to be going to Leeds on Saturday..............
Answer:
I WAS THERE, I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!
It was AWESOME - as was my haul of £113.00 worth of stuff:o :yay:
A girl was chatting to me at the mirrors as I tried everything on over my clothes - the queue for the changing rooms was ginormous and it was only 10.30 am! When this girl said that she liked to shop at Primark in Wakefield I actually (actually) said to her - "Are you a bagger?" This is how she looked... !!!! I had to explain what I meant to her then, but I was desperate for her to say "YES I'm Heidibee!!!!"
I was wearing all choc brown, carried an Oasis metallic bag and wore long wooden beads in case you thought you recognised me as a bagger!
I then went to Marks and Spencer and picked up a stunning hat for £7 - reduced from £50!"!!!!!!
Happy days!:yay: :yay: :yay:

pmsl! I have been out in Reading and Oxford sometimes and I look at people and think "hmmm I wonder if they're a bagger" cos they will be looking at something or wearig something that I had been reading about the night/day before
I am a bit mad tho! :p
Primark gold pumps
NO.2. ask :
Primark gold pumps
I should have picked up a pair of these when I saw them!
I don't suppose anyone has a pair in 5, or could get hold of a pair for me could they please?
I've decided that gold pumps are THE shoes I need to wear with my black drainpipes, and the only ones I could find the other day were £15 and had a horrid sole on them.
Answer:
none in Kingston sorry :(
Answer:
They're well gone aren't they?
My friend got some absolutely ages ago!

Maybe, but it's worth a try! I'm sure someone was talking about them on here the other day.
And anyway, someone might have a pair they don't want (not exactly likely, but still...).
Answer:
o/t but just bought a pair of metallic gold ones!
Black wide leg cropped trousers...
NO.3. ask :
Black wide leg cropped trousers...
....here:
http://order.next.co.uk/page.asp?b=X36p=26o=1 - £32.99
Do you like 'em?
Thanks for any opinions!
Answer:
Hmm i'm not so sure about them being cropped. They have a nice shape but I think they would look nice as full length trousers. Buy them if you like them though, that is what is most important.
Answer:
I have some similar ones from primark for £8! But the fabric is very bit picky uppy. But yeah they're nice, wouldn't personally wear them with boots myself though:confused:
Answer:
I think they're lovely with the boots!!
Personally I'd prefer them a bit wider - ie swingier (think I've just invented a word  ) but then wouldn't they be culottes??

To me they just look like slim gauchos. I also think they look okay with boots - especially in A/W and kinda picks up on the 'Russian' look a bit IYSWIM.
:)
Are my skinny jeans too... skinny??
NO.4. ask :
Are my skinny jeans too... skinny??
I bought these jeans the other day, and I'm a bit worried they're too tight. :o
They pull a bit across the front at the top of the zip. They do have 2% lycra and I think they'll give a bit, but I'm just a bit worried about them. I could go up a size, but they didn't have my leg length in stock in the next size up.
I'll mostly be wearing them with longer length tops - definitely no cropped tops!!!
Honest opinions only please - I can take it!!
Answer:
I think they look fine- very sexy! You have very nice legs to carry them off!
Answer:
NO WAY!! You look H.O.T girfriend, I'd kill to look like that in me drainies!!
Answer:
they're fine! bigger would be too big for sure.
Answer:
You've nothing to worry about.
Gap jeans - not Long'n'Lean
NO.5. ask :
Gap jeans - not Long'n'Lean
Everyone goes on about how much Gap Long'n'Leans stretch, and how you should get the smallest size you can possibly fit into - is the same true for their other cuts of jeans? I recently bought some of their Western Bootcut jeans in the sale (for a fiver!) but the only size they had left in long-length was an 8 - they're a pretty snug fit, but I was counting on the fact that because they're stretch, they'd give a little. Sooo...do other Gap cuts also stretch and give? And do they just give in the legs and bum, or waist as well? (They fit OK around the waist, but I'm not sure they'd still be as comfortable after a big curry! :p)
TIA, LL*

Answer:
I have the stretch ultra low rise ones which don't give or go baggy AT ALL. Love em! :D
Answer:
I have 2 pairs of long and leans... they are great, although they do stretch very slightly, they don't go completely baggy or anything like some people have reported. I usually find they go back to shape after washing too and give a little after wearing them again.
