Answer:
I love Sloggi underwear:)
It's very comfy.
I always buy knickers and thongs in a larger size, then they won't dig in and create flabby bits, not that I need to create anymore though:lol:

Looking for Purple/Brown tshirts

Looking for Purple/Brown tshirts
To wear underneath my new Primark cardigans, I am planning on wearing one of them tomorrow and I would appreciate any help in finding some withouht having to (shudder shudder :( ) trail the shops. I am looking for some nice thin cotton ones
Answer:
I was going to suggest Primark again, but they're not cotton (mega cheap though, hurrah!). Have you looked in Gap? They're the first place I'd think of for basic cotton t-shirts, or perhaps Benneton?
Answer:
Popped into Zara a while ago and saw lots (plain basics which are good enough to wear underneath cardies) ;)
Shopping in Canada?
NO.4. ask :
Shopping in Canada?
I'm off to Canada at the end of this month and part of it (5 days) will be spent in Vancouver.
I just wondered if clothes are likely to be much cheaper over there (say US prices) or if there isn't much difference from the UK. I'll be looking at mainly Gap equivalent type stuff/prices but obviously I'll have a quick nosey at the more designer end while I'm there!
Anyone been lately? (also posted in Travel).
Thanks.
Answer:
Jeans are definitely cheaper. Especially Levis.
And makeup like MAC and cLINIQUE
Answer:
:) Thanks!
Anyone else been lately?
Answer:
ohhhhh I was in Vancouver last year - you will LOOVE it!!
The prices are ok, to be honest i wasn't really looking as i'd saved up, and was pretty much just buying whatever i wanted. I did get a good deal on Havaianas flip flops, they're in most dept stores and are cheaper than here, about a tenner a pair. There's a nice boutiquey style shop thats on Granville St called Aritzia - theres also one in Metrotown(?) shopping mall - its good, and stocks juicy etc.
I loved Old Navy and also got some great things in American Eagle - both have websites so you can check out the stock. Dept stores like Holt Renfrew are also good, as is the big TJ Maxx on Granville St.
Also, theres an area called Kitsilano, thats totally worth a look, it has a really big Mavi jeans store and some little unusual boutiques. Its a lovely area, nice for just hanging out in, having lunch etc.
Nowt to do with shopping (although its FILLED with shops) but Granville Island ( the market) is a must see/do - if you get a nice sunny day its a gorgeous area.
The beaches are beautiful too - English BAy in particular.
You'll have a blast, its an amazing place. Aw...I wish i was there, can you tell?!
Answer:
wait, I got mixed up - for Kitsilano, I mean Yaletown! Kitsilano is gorgeous too, but Yaletown is where the Mavi store is!
Shipping from US
NO.5. ask :
Shipping from US
Hi, I was wondering if you could help with a query - I have just ordered some products from the US and was wondering whether I could ask them to mark up the products in a certain way to avoid customs charges etc?!
Is this legal?
;)
I 'm sure I recall someone mentioning that if it was marked up as a gift, you didn't have to pay extra or something?
Any suggestions?
Thanks alot
Answer:
Usually places that ship often mark it down in value and as a gift. I wouldn't recommend this if the item is valuable though as insurance will only pay you out the stated value if something gets lost. Touch wood I have never been caught for duty.
Answer:
I have emailed them and them to mark it is a gift! Have to see what happens. I alsways seem to get done for customs duty, its very annoying!:(
