A magazine for people who love shoes- it's out there!
Saw a magazine devoted to shoes the otherday!!!
Answer:
really? what's it called ?
Answer:
http://www.shoomagazine.com/
looks like it's not only about shoes!
Answer:
oooh going to sainsbury's this lunchtime... shall see if they have it and if they do have a quick flick through.
although going slightly o/t... cannot stand alek wek! That alone puts me off the mag.
Answer:
Yingers I saw it in the Leeds branch of Borders so if you have no look when you are shopping you could try a branch of Borders. I just gave it a quick flick in the shop. Looks like a good one especially if you are an accessory fan.

    Hello,
I am very very tempted by the news calf length suede boots in Topshop. I've kind of slipped them on in powder blue and black and I also like the red. If they were brown or grey I'd snap them off straight off as I could get away with wearing them now, but I am worrying that black is too dark for this time of year and powder blue too limiting.
I also think I might not wear them for a couple of months so maybe I should hold out until there is more choice in the shops, but then they may be gone and I'll be kicking myself.
    So...... what do people think???

    Answer:
I have the same dilemma regarding their knee high buckle boots :o
    Answer:
Is there a pic of them? Buy them and keep them (and receipt) just in case and if you then see something nicer exchange them.
    Answer:
Nothing real useful to add, other than isn't it a bit warm to be thinking boots atm??? I know I can't contemplate them just yet!
    Answer:
They're really nice as well Looney!!
CX - that's what I usually do, but I am being useless at taking stuff back at the moment and currently have a couple of bags of clothes I don't want / need, but which I've had for over a month so can't return  .
I am trying to break that habit!

    Lush - help needed!
Ok - my spy bag was dispatched last Friday and its still not here despite me paying for 2-3 day fedex delivery.
I have emailed them but had no response. Can anyone help me with a contact number or something?
    Answer:
    :boohoo:
    Answer:
Sorry Super, I looked the other day when Shopaholic Princess was having difficulties and I have deleted all my e-mails from when I had problems with my order. I managed to find a specific person (who seemed to be in the Accounts dept and in a senior position) who ended up intervening on my behalf dealing with the shipping dept who said they had sent me my order twice so I should pay for it twice....anyway, nope, never had a phone number and had very frustrating attempts to communicate by e-mail.
The only thing is I'm pretty sure they said the Spy bag was not shipping out until later in August...so it may well be that you've paid for 2-3 day shipping but for when the bags are released later in August ?? I wouldn't expect their website or order confirmation e-mails to be clear on this as its probably out of the ordinary for them and so the automated responses might not be clear ?? just a thought...
good luck. If you PM me the e-mail addresses you have I might recognise the one that you should target.
failing a satisfactory response you can always take it up with paypal ??
    Answer:
I've found that although it says "dispatched" on your Lush account, if you've not received a FedEx tracking number then it's not ACTUALLY been dispatched.
Have you had a FedEx tracking number, and if so, can you track your bag?
I was the one of the first to order the Milk Paddington and it took almost 2 weeks to arrive (it was pre-order) - altho it said dispatched on my Lush account, but it hadn't actually left the supplier yet. This may be the same as your order.
It's only when you've got the tracking number and you can "see" the bag's on the move that it's actually being sent to you.
    Hope that helps, Super!
    Answer:
    aah i see....no i haven't received a tracking number yet...so that makes sense!
    thank you!

    Topshop Grey Buckle boots
    Guys
have those who also purchased these tried them with anything yet?
I had a spot of trying on last night, but can't seem to get them to look right with anything.
With grey jeans, they seem to clash a bit.
with my dark jeans, it looks very contrasting, and the buckles make my legs look chunky.
I was even thinking that they might my nice with some of my 'over jeans' dresses if I paired them with a pair of leggings, but black going into them doesn't look right :(
I'm also obsessing with the black heel on them, and thinking it cheapens them :(
Anyone have any ideas? managed to put outfits together? or anyone having second thoughts about them too?
    Answer:
I haven't got mine yet but i was going to go with the whole grey, black and white theme.
I was going to wear mine with grey jeans (if i can find the right pair) black and white stripey top and black wrap cardigan. Could wear black jeans instead i guess too.
Do they look ok with dark blue jeans?
I think they would look good with black jeans and a grey dress style top similar to the **** silvia dress they did last year (the one caramelx and pro have:) )
    Answer:
hmmm those sound good..... and I tried stuff like that last night but it just wasn't 'gel-ing' or something for me. I think that the grey of the boots and of my grey jeans just didn't match well...... and I didn't try anything grey with the outfits, maybe that would help them gel more?
...... starting to wonder whether the black or the camel colour would be more versatile :( , even though i still love the grey.
    Answer:
Mine look fine with anything, I did have slight issues with the black heel, would have preferred a leather-covered one, but I love them so much that I've got used to it.
I wear mine with black puffball skirts, indigo jeans tucked in, pinstripe culottes.. anything I fancy! I keep forgetting to put my damn photos up of me wearing them with things, I'll do it tonight for definite!
I have images of me wearing an oversized slouchy grey and black stripe jumper (that I might have spotted in Warehouse earlier this week) with my boots, black jeans and maybe a beret.
    xx
    Answer:
Oh i know what you mean! Tan ones would be so 'usual' me but i was trying to be different for a change:lol: I have a feeling everyone will buy the tan and black version too so hopefully these should be a bit different!

    Black Boots help please!!
Having had a whole year of not wearing black  (apparently it's an after baby thing  no-one wears black after having had a baby  You get colouritis. ;) BUT it fades and I'm now doing black with a vengeance for autumn ;) :yay: )
BUT I need some boots and obviously ;) need your help!!
A couple of years ago (actually about 4 :o ) I got some FAB FAB ones from LK Bennett. Knee high, point, v stretchy ribbed fabric boots with a BIG kitten heel of about 2 and a half inches. These boots are the most comfy boots KNOWN to man and I could walk miles and miles in them.
BUT the feckers stopped doing them and now only do an itchy witchy kitten heel, which I don't like personally, or a whopping 3/3 and a half inch heel which are LUSH but not for tramping around the shops with a baby (which is my life :o but obviously I don't "tramp" per se  )
I don't really want leather as I think they have a tendency on my to look a tad "wellyish".
I do love the fabric boots but am not a big fan of the fake suede boots. (real suede would be grand though!!)
I'm looking for something that's not chunky, so either pointy or round toed but with a quite slim heel.
I did see a pair in Due Pase on the Kings Road yesterday which were pointy with a block heel - VAGUELY cowboy ish in a really weird way.
God my descriptive skills are pigging non existent aren't they :o
Any help would be v gratefully recieved!!
    Thanks!!
