    Answer:
    Tempting!
I usually have to show the men in my life how to do all things DIY but this one has got me stumped....where's a bloke when you need one eh:lol:
    Answer:
PC - loving 'Big Strong Boy' - we all have our little phrases don't we. I have learnt that if you bat your eyelids and say " i can't do this, I think its' pause "(insert your particular phrase here)" and do that tilting head down and looking up through your eyelashes thing... you can pretty much get men to do it !

    What shoes with this skirt
1 Attachment(s) It's my sister's birthday party on saturday and I can't find an outfit at all. I was contemplating buying a skirt similar to this but have no idea what shoes I would wear with it, I could either get a lime green one or a teal coloured skirt. Please help me.
    Answer:
    Gold flats?
    Answer:
Yeah, I did think the only option would be flats but I thought it might look a bit daytime?
    Answer:
i can see it with footless tights and really high black heels (poss patent) and then a tank tee...but thats quite a specific style, and maybe not your thing?
    Answer:
I've saw some really fab green lime, strappy sandals (with jewels on them) in Faith which would look gorgeous with that skirt!

    NO.4. ask :
How do you know if something's fake?
Okay, so it probably doesn't help that I'm not referring to anything in particular, but how do you know when an item of clothing or an accessory is fake? My colleague, for example, wanted this Christian Dior make-up bag on eBay so I asked her how she knew it was a genuine one, and she said because lots of people were bidding on it! Now, I know that might be an indication but it's not exactly proof!
What should you look out for?
    Answer:
In my experience quality of the workmanship mainly but also how clear the stamps or branding is, quality of leather or materials used, lining, serial numbers (although these can easily be faked as well), authenticity cards (ditto), packaging ie, dust bags (ditto again), the colour ie, the item is made in a colourway that you haven't seen being sold by a legitimate retailer, zips and fastenings, price.
These days if I was looking for something like Dior which is easily and massively copied I'd never get it from eBay. I'd also say that just because lots of people are bidding on it, doesn't make it genuine!
    Answer:
Well, there's no hard and fast rule! Loads of piccies and a good seller reputation is always helpful.
But even receipts can be faked these days, so I would only bid if the seller agreed that he/she would refund the item if I had it authenticated (by the store) and it turned out to be fake. Would have to agree the form of authentication beforehand eg letter from store manager or similar.
There are some sellers who make ridiculous claims like they'll give you twice your money back if it turns out to be fake, but then demand verification from the designer himself, so you would then have to chase it thru paypal.
    Answer:
That seems like very sound advice! Personally I doubt I'd ever try and buy some designer or popular item off eBay because you never know exactly what you're getting and I'm not knowledgeable enough to judge appropriately. There's also the small fact that I wouldn't be spending money on designer stuff yet. Sadly not rich enough!
    I'm just curious about it.

    Matthew Williamson Sizing
    1 Attachment(s) Hello girls,
While looking for green shoes for Dustbin earlier, I found a gorgeous pair of Matthew Williamson shoes in the sale which I now want.....
What is the sizing like? I veer between a 5 and a 6 but now that I have lost a fair bit of weight I seem to be a 5 more often than not.
I dont want to order them in one size and have to return them - the other will most likely have sold out by then......
Have attached them for a gander....
    xxx
    Answer:
I don't know about Matthew Williamson shoe sizing at all but I would say with them being sling backs, I'd go for the smaller size but why don't you just order both, it's free returns isn't it? They are v pretty by the way.
    Answer:
I just did that - and they have no 5s left!!!!
So I have ordered the 6 in the green, hopefully they will fit, cos its not like I can wear a pair of woolly socks with them really....
    :fingers:
    Thanks hon!!
    Answer:
Ooh good luck! Stretch your feet if needs be ;)
    Answer:
I'll put them on a boil wash :D
