Mulberry Joni??

NO.1. Ask :
Mulberry Joni??
Is this bag a figment of my imagination?
I'm sure I've read all about it in a mag somewhere, but the only trace of it on the net is here;
http://www.21stcenturyvillage.com/sh...directory.html
'Joni is a capacious, curvy shoulder bag shape in a new washed leather which feels as soft and smooth as fabric. It's perfect for slinging over a sundress and looks great in our new zingy hibiscus shade. Joni's 'mini' sister is called Suzy - a great little clutch.'
I LOVE Joni Mitchell, (not as a fashion icon tho - remember that awful Topshop collection called 'Joni' too?).
Having said that, at the risk of being little disrespectful (since she's so not materialistic) I can't resist a bag in her name that sounds so lush!
Please help :(
Hxx
while I'm at it, can someone pls PM the details of the HK bag lady?
Answer:
Oh my God I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag I think it's in IN Style this month and it's the one I'm considering getting made by the Hong Kong lady as well.
I didn't think it was so hard top track down though. I only have a small picture of one side and was wondering how much information the Hong Kong lady needs....

Answer:
I've never heard of it- is it an old style (or maybe a new one)? I'm getting quite into Mulberry stuff now :D.
A Google search brought up nothing, and there's nothing on the website.
Answer:
I just nipped out to have a sneaky peek at this month's InStyle -
it does show it in hibiscus and it's gorgeous!
Like a relaxed-shape hobo with a coupla roxy style buckles.
Must be a recent one since it's newly advertised?
I WANT!
Someone has to know something... :sniffles:
  • For those who are still wearing MOOCH jeans..; Asda? Anything nice lately?; New Dress; What are you wearing this weekend - I REALLY need inspiration!!!; Primark still doing this bag?
  • What are your wardrobe essentials?

    NO.2. ask :
    What are your wardrobe essentials?
I am considering having a total overhaul of my wardrobe (and life ;) ) because there is so much stuff in it that I don't wear any more.
What are your wardrobe essentials? I'm not talking about things such as a pair of Manolo Blahniks (although I'm sure some of you class them as essentials ;) ).
My current essentials (small as the list may be):
White racer back vest top x 3
    Black skinny fit t-shirt x 3
    Kick flare jeans x 2
    Heavy jumpers x 3
The rest of my collection is ecclectic and rarely gets worn!

    Blimey! won't you get bored wearing the same things everyday if you just keep those items? I only say this because a similar thing has just happened to me. That's the reason that I have just bought lots of new items in the sale - because I was totally pissed off wearing the same bloody outfits every day!! Now I've got quite a bit more variety to choose from as follows;
    Various styles tops white/cream/beige/brown/black/red/pink
Various colours/fabric A line Skirts and 1 longer olive skirt
Trousers (bootleg or kick flare) brown, black, grey, pinstripe plus jeans/cords for weekend.
3 or 4 Jumpers mostly fitted and thiner fabric (I finally decided that heavy knitwear is not good for my shape and binned them!).
A few jackets ranging from casuel to work jackets.
A couple of basic primark cardies for work
Thats all I can think of at the moment. But I can tell you it's a lot easier getting ready for work when you have plenty of choice to choose from!! ;)

    In addition to those ..
*Denim jacket, Parka, 3/4 smart black coat, numerous casual jackets and a casual blazer.
    * Black fitted cardi
    * Smart/Casual pointy shoes, boots (ankle and knee high) and my trainers
    *Casual/smart bags
I have a few skirts but they're not in my 'essential' list just yet as I'm trying to ease myself back into skirts at the mo!
    Answer:
Oh f***, how embarassing! My computer's going a bit mad at the mo, didn't mean to post 3 times...honest!!:o
    Answer:
Dont worry Caramel I'll sort it :)
My wardrobe essentials are my green tops (of which I have about 12 :o), flared jeans and shell toe trainers. Anything else I can give or take :D

Never think that Poundstretcher is only for cheap mops!!!!
I just went in and spent £15 on underwear. I was amazed at the quality - thick cotton with a good amount of stretch, well finished edges, gorgeous designs... Mostly good for cotton pants and thongs (Just £1!) but I did get a purple satiny thong with black ribbon detailing for just £2!!!! There were some lovely bra and thong sets but the bras there dont fit me :(
Definitely go and check it out - especially if youre rubbish with a washing machine. At those prices you dont mind shredding them once in a while :D
    Answer:
    Thanks for that.
I really need some new everyday undies, but I don't think we have got a poundstretcher near us. I've bought some from matalan and they are going straight in the bin (not that cheap either). I'll think I'll stick to the BHS ones, I like them and they are not a bad price at 2 for £6. Bras are about £12-15 but I can never find my size!
    Answer:
Excellent... I swore I would only buy undies from Primark from now on as they are so cheap pretty good in there also, but this might be worth a lookie... thanks for that :)
    Answer:
Peacocks have some really pretty underwear too, the only problem is their general size range for bras is 32a, 34b, 36c, 38d, 40dd. I've never seen anything different which is really annoying since they have some lovely things. I have a few really nice pairs of knickers from there though.
    Answer:
Eta am wearing a pair of their hipster full briefs today (ie classic 1950s leg holes but low rise) and they are possible the cutest, most comfy pair of pants I own! And theyre pink :D :D :D

    ASOS Uggs
    Hiya!
I try not to buy cheapy clothes/shoes as it usually shows (on me anyway) but I've seen on ASOS that they have some mini black uggs style boots for about a tenner and was wondering if any body had any?
If so are they good? DO they look/feel cheap or can you pass them as a decent pair?
    Ta x

Unless theyre real sheepskin (which I doubt they will be for that price) I would be loathe to buy them. I hate the feel of fake sheepskin
    Answer:

    Amazing bargains!
Just went into my local Fenwicks to look at shoes. Didn't see much but on the way out a skirt on the Morgan sales rail caught my eye. I'm not normally a Morgan fan (tend to find it a bit teeny and overpriced) but thought it was worth a quick look.
Turns out the branch are really downsizing their Morgan section and everything was £9!!! I basically grabbed anything in my size and headed to the changing room.
    Ended up with:
    - Cream cotton just below the knee skirt - slightly frilly round the base with lovely detailing
    - Cream floppy kneck jumper with flared sleeves
    - Cream wrapover cardigan (part mohair) - lovely fit and very soft
    - Black and white tweedy wool trousers - really soft knit and great fit
    - Black trousers with white trim round the pockets - perfect for work and actually long enough for me to wear with heels
    - Cream cord blazer - just what I've been looking for - great fit and the sleeves are even long enough!
Was so excited I nearly hyperventilated!!:yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

    Answer:
is your local Fenwick in Newcastle? if so, I'll be off up there:)
    Answer:
Afraid not - it was the Windsor branch.
