Which Colour Necklace?
I'm thinking about asking for this necklace for my birthday, but don't know whether to get it in red, blue, pink or green. Which colour do you all prefer?

What is the 'protocol' for shoe string strappy tops in an office?
I feel silly for asking but as someone who doesn't know anyone else in proper 'office jobs' and in an office with all males, I'm not quite sure if it's seen as too casual, or too 'revealing' for the office.
Is it along the same lines as to not go all out with the cleavage for office environments of is it more relaxed than that? Our office is fairly casual, in that I don't have to wear a suit etc.

I work in an office, I can wear what I like most of the time, but I wouldn't wear a shoestring or any kind of strappy vest... unless I wear a cardigan or something over it. I think it looks a bit untidy and too casual.

I posted about the same thing a little while ago, I never wear spaghetti straps at work, but it was so hot that I felt I really wanted to wear this dress, it's not a beachy/casual dress, it's lined and a good quality item, but I didn't wear the it in the end, just couldn't bring myself to it.
So I would say no, don't wear it, especially if there are loads of dudes around!

I find it hard to find stylish non-shoe-string strapless tops, any ideas on where I might source one. Maybe I've not looked hard enough!

Hi Girlies
Am experiencing a fashion crisis. All the girls I work with always look really good and trendy and as I am saving to buy a house later this year I am really broke and self consious of the way I look.
I'm quite tall (5ft 10) size 8/10 and no idea what suits me. Ten to wear black trousers and a top for work and jeans and funky tees for play.
Any ideas how I can reinvent myself would be much appreciated, I don't know where to start.

dunno what to suggest really other than buy some girlie mags (not the boy kind :lol: ) to get some ideas of trends and what's in the shops atm and also hang out here on this forum more often!

Yingers is right mags are a good place to start! Also check out what other people are wearing so you can work out what looks right and wrong in your own mind. Also some stores offer stylists and personal shopper services which may be a way to go if you are really concerned. Above all though be yourself don't try and go with something just because its trendy - you might be one of lifes black trousers and tops peopel - there is a lot of us about:p Yor figure sounds great though I def wouldn't worry about that:)

I think the best thing would be to go shopping, pick up a load of things you probably wouldn't normally look at and have a good try on:)
