Jennifers husband!
I am ordering some bags from Jennifer and she has asked me to send the money via western union to her husband, as she is busy.
I am a little worried as his sir name is not the same as hers!!!
Has anyone sent the money to her husband before??- or does it sound dodgy to you?? It's nearly £300 I'm sending
Answer:
it does sound a bit dodgy especially as it is a lot of money you are sending? what bags are you getting? would you maybe be able to get them from a uk based site like designer-lines or lushthings
xx
Answer:
no i wasnt asked to send to her husbnad, sounds a litle odd to me..
Answer:
What does her "being busy" have to do with the way you send your payment to her? That makes no sense.
I wouldn't say to someone "Oh put the money in my brothers account, cos I'm too busy" Eh?
I'd email her again asking why it needs to be put in her husband's a/c.
Answer:
I'd be very careful. Didn't someone on this forum mention a little while ago that someone was intercepting and hacking into her emails?
Primark!
NO.2. ask :
Primark!
Phew - just belted it up to Primark. What a heaving mess! I didn't make it past the first section in the entrance as the Q to pay was so large I was worried I wouldn't get back to work in time!
I managed to snaffle that shiney (unfortunately) chloe bib front mini dress in black but had to get a 12 as it was the smallest size there and a black cotton voluminous dress that is quite similar (in a 10) but I think it may be too volumuinous for my liking. I hope I don;t want to return them (but I suspect that I will) as I can only imagine how long the returns Q is!!! :p
Nightmare . . .
Answer:
Brave! I don't like the MA Primark, it's too big and hot. And the clothes don't feel any more special then, say, the Kingston Primark. The queues for the changing rooms are HUGE. It took me like half an hour to pay, too. Bummer. X

I have that dress - managed to get an 8. I would think a 12 would be way too big for you.
I have a load of stuff to return before I go off tomorrow; am dreading the queue!
Answer:
I have a load of stuff to refund but refuse to take it back to MA. I'll refund at H'smith - shorter queues.
The MA store is really hot isn't it? I thought it was just me who thought it was an inferno! AC wouldn't go amiss in there!!
Answer:
Primark does funny things to you doesn't it?
I picked up that dress in a 14 and it looked really short so went hunting for a 16 which I couldn't find so came home with an 18 that I look ridiculous in. I have the black cotton one in a 12 so it will be too big for you I imagine M. :cmdunno:
anyone else finding tops too long for skirts??
NO.3. ask :
anyone else finding tops too long for skirts??
I am getting quite fed up. I appreciate that most women are longer-bodied than me (I am short, 5ftnothing, and my waist is quite high up) but every top I try on seems to be hip length or below, fine for trousers perhaps, but not so great for 50s style fitted, flared skirts (my summer wardrobe staple).
I've looked almost everywhere but I have yet to try a proper Dorothy Perkins petite section, there's a couple of petite tops on MS looking a bit hopeful and Next petite, but wondered if anyone could add to that terribly exciting list? At this rate I'm going to have to start hemming tops!
Thanks, an-almost-at-wits-end-Naz.
Answer:
Me too! They are *very* long. I have found Primark to be quite good with their jersey camis with lace. Also, don't topshop and RI have petite sections? X
Answer:
Do you find normal DP tops too long? Becuase I always find them quite short- could just be my strange shape though!
Answer:
Me three! I don't have anything constructive to add, but wanted to say: thank goodness I'm not the only one! I'm shortish, (just over 5' 3") but I have relatively long legs (as opposed to a short body dontcha know  ) and I find it impossible to find tops to go with my summer skirts. I'll be watching this thread to see if I can get any good ideas!

It depends - last year I got some fab shorter tops in DP, but this year there aren't many that aren't "longline." I'll give it a try though, thanks hazy!
skydancer - I've been checking out petite sections on the TS website amongst others - most uninspiring, I have to say. Mostly slightly-shorter tunics, it seems. But I'll keep persevering - hadn't thought of RI so will check that out too! Thanks!
And, phew, I'm glad it's not only me! :)

ebay 10p listing day on Thursday!
Don't know if this has already been done but I thought I would post it anyways. Perfect chance to save money whilst hopefully making some!
Has anyone noticed who they seem to so less free listing day promotions than they used to do - they haven't had one of those for ages:(
Answer:
Excellent! Thanks LouLou! I've been waiting for one of these! You're right, it has been quite a while!
Answer:
Thanks for this, I too have tonnes to sell so this will be very handy!
Answer:
Yes! Finally.
I was just about to consider listing my 20 or so Turbo Lister listings on a non-cheap day too.
Thanks for posting, LouLou69.
OOh Im now string bag
NO.5. ask :
OOh Im now string bag
After being a carrier bag for ages, lol.
Whats the order carrier bag string bag ???
Answer:
I may be wrong but I think its:
paper 20
plastic 21-49
carrier 51-99
String 100-299(?!)
Canvas 301-499
Tote 500-999
Designer 1000+
I think once you have posted 5000 times ( or is it 2000?!? :cmdunno: ) you can then change "designer bag" to whatever you want.
and I think you have to post a certain amount before "I'm new" changes to paper but not sure how many that is...

Answer:

Answer:
