Choose my new shoes!!!!
Hi ladies
I've got my eye on a couple of pairs of cream round toes but can't decide and wondered if anyone could help me choose please.
The first pair are from Oasis - they're on the website and are called Cassandra. They're cream courts with cut-outs and gold edging.
The second pair are on the Topshop website - they're the round toe court shoes. They're in blue on the site but they also come in cream which is the colour I like.
If anyone can be arsed to have a look (or pretty pretty please add the pictures to this thread as I'm a dimwit and don't know how to do it! :o ) I'd be most grateful!
They're to wear with shorts, cropped trousers and rolled up jeans. :)

Need help with shoes!
NO.2. ask :
Need help with shoes!
I'm not usually found round these parts, usually hang aroung weddings but I wondered if anybody would be able to help me.
I have wide feet and need to find some shoes that I will be able to wear on my wedding day that are not going to kill me! Does anybody know anywhere I may be able to find any?
Any help greatly apprecited!!
Answer:
Maybe this would help?
you'll have to trawl through the article a little...
ETA: I found as well...
Answer:
Hi Jensta,
I have this problem too. I now get virtually all of my shoes from Evans and if you go to a large branch, they have quite a good selection in. As far as I know they don't do actual wedding shoes, but you will get something summery in lighter shades etc.
Also, Debenhams and BHS do wedding shoes so they may have a couple of options with wider fittings.
If you have got a while until your wedding, you might also want to try trawling the net but only if you can be bothered to send them back if they're no good!
Good luck,
Mel

What to buy in Rome?
NO.3. ask :
What to buy in Rome?
Another what to buy thread - my 2nd to follow ;)
Am going to Rome for 5 days at the end of June/early July - what should I be looking out for?
Also, how much spending money do you think i'm going to need?
Thanks, BB x
Answer:
Am very envious. Rome is a fantatic place and the shopping is to die for. There was a thread a short while back (I think!) on the places to shop in Rome. I will try and do a search for you but I dont kow how to post the link!! I would say that all the Italian designer shops are about two thirds cheaper than here. Prada in particular, although expensive, is nowhere near as expensive as it is here in London so if ther eis something you've had your eye on it may be worth a trip. Also, gucci et al
Answer:
Ooh yes, sorry, forgot to say - I read that thread but I'm not really into designer, and doubt if I could afford them cheap let alone UK prices!
I've heard there's some good 'retro' second hand type shops?
Anything individual and/or cheap is good by me!!
Answer:
I didn't see too many retro shops when I was there but you could have a look at the early morning flea markets which had some great things.
You lucky thing, I heart Rome.

Ooh, where abouts are they?
It's my first time to Rome, and my first time away with my boyfriend, I'm so excited!! :yay:
My first Primark rampage tomorrow!
NO.4. ask :
My first Primark rampage tomorrow!
The HUGE Kingston Primark is opening at 9am tomorrow and I am having a 'dentist' appointment so I can beat the Saturday morning chavalance and raid all the decent stuff before it disappears!
Can anyone tell me what I should be looking out for?
Answer:
primark
printed wrap dresses, linen trousers, crochet pumps, bed linen - yes really!!!!!!
Lovely belts - also if there is a man in your life I can definitely recommend the mens Linen drwstring trousers £8.
Back to fashion - gypsy skirts (yawn), socks, swimwear, ethnic toe post sandals
That should keep you busy, how are you going to smuggle your pucrchases into work - are you taking them home first???:p
Answer:
I'm dropping them home first! Its my other halfs birthday soon as well so hoping to pick up some things for him. Am really skint at the moment so am delighted I will finally have a Primark!
Definately want one of those jackets with the buttons and a sequin shrug...
Answer:
yay..i live in Kingston Supercat - maybe i could fake a 'dentist' appointment too??!!
If not, im going to go first thing Sat morning before all the chavs get up!
Answer:
Dont forget basic t-shirts with stretch (wash and wear very well), jewellery (they have some fab beads at the moment), bathroom towels, underwear.
Hope you make lots of purchases!
What to buy in Sri Lanka?
NO.5. ask :
What to buy in Sri Lanka?
Sorry - but I did warn that there'd be a 2nd one :p
Am going to Sri Lanka mid july - mid august...can anyone recommend things to be buying?
We're doing one of those tours so will be all around the country.
Cheers again, BB x
Answer:
Fabrics, spices, tea, crafts, jewellery (don't get ripped off though! you are unlikely to make a real killing on precious jewellery so if it sounds too good to be true, it almost certainly is - that's my experience from shopping for jewellery in India and Sri Lanka). Not vg for clothes or leather, as far as I recall. I didn't have anything made up by a tailor in Sri Lanka but in India you can have almost any garment copied and made up very cheaply in a few hours so that might be worth investigating? Gorgeous place though, and fabulous food! Lucky you!:)
