Where should I go shopping in London?

NO.1. Ask :
Where should I go shopping in London?
I'm going on Saturday and have Oxford Street and Camden planned, but don't really know where else to go (if I'll have time....)
Any ideas?
Answer:
What are you hoping to buy or look at?
Answer:
If you have time, Covent Garden is nice.
Answer:
No idea really. Just impulse buying. Nothing too expensive though.
Will check out Covent Garden.
Just going to print off a tube map and circle things....
Answer:
Personally I couldn't cope with camden and oxford street in one day!! how about you go to Oxford Street and then wonder down Marylebone High Street and treat yourself to cakes at Paul....

  • InStyle magazine- is it any good?

    NO.2. ask :
InStyle magazine- is it any good?
    Hello
I'm planning a lazy weekend involving large fluffy dressing gown, ridiclous amount of cosmetics and a magazine.
I am continuously tempted by InStyle but being terminally skint, am usually horrified by the price and opt for cheaper alternatives.
Am now thinking i may take the plunge (!) and fork out the necessary £3 odd as i fancy lots of lovely pictures of clothes instead of interviews with Abi Titmuss and the like, but wondered whether it it considered a worthy purchase by your good selves? Or will i find it a clothes overload and find myself craving the latest news from Celebrity Love Island?! (God forbid).
So what do you all make of it?
    Answer:
I like it and buy it regularly (well actually I slip it in the shopping trolley at the supermarket so technically Mr Mouse buys it :D).
It's good light weight stuff with lots of fashion and beauty and none of that boring social issues stuff that the like of Marie Claire are so keen on.
    Answer:
    oooh your weekend sounds heavenly!
I :throb: :throb: :throb: InStyle magazine - luckily its one of the freebies we get here at work so :great:
I am the biggest fan of crap tv but cannot force myself to look at those publicity whores rebecca loos and abi titf**k - oops, sorry! :p
    Answer:
I :throb: InStyle - I've had a subscription for ages. It is probably my favourite magazine. Get it and have a lovely weekend :cmcheers:
    Answer:
Thanks girls, will purchase on my way home. Am pleased to hear that beauty is also covered (although the last thing i need is to be swayed by yet another new mascara...why can't i just be happy with the 10 I've already got??)
Oh to have a glamourous job with actual perks, PV! Am literally green with envy (well, envious wearing a green top- so pretty much).
Thanks again for the recommendations- InStyle is clearly an essential purchase!

  • Bras for a 36AA

    NO.5. ask :
    Bras for a 36AA
Help! I'm getting married and want a nice bra with clear straps (or strapless) and a bit of padding as my dress has tiny straps and I don't want to look really flat chested. I've searched the internet but there doesn't seem to be anything that great - Ideally I'd love a corset thing to pull my tummy in attached to the bra but I think as finding a bra is proving so hard that would be asking too much.
    Any ideas?
ps - this is why I loathe shopping at 5' 11" with a 33" inside leg, size 14/16 bottom half and size 12 top half, size 8 feet and a 36AA chest the only thing I can shop for that I know will fit seems to be a scarf! (woa is me...)
    Answer:
Maybe it's not sufficiently special for your wedding, but have you tried MS? I was 36AA when i was a bit younger, and i know they def. did underwear in that size then...
Sorry can't be of more help
    Cherry x
    Answer:
New Look had some padded strapless ones in today that were also backless (well, they were supposed to be, they had a clear strap round the back), and I think they do 36AA.
    Answer:
Thanks you guys - I think it might have to be MS - they seem to be the only ones to consistently cater for my size, I don't really care if it's pretty as long as it's not seen.
I might have a look in New Look too - haven't really considered them before!
    Answer:
you probably already have but have you tried www.figleaves.com ? i normally find them quite useful :)
ps: swap your inside leg for mine (35.5) :D
  • Next boots - sold out; Khussa shoes; for gods sake what is the point; Sorry, off topic; I saw the cutest thing today
