Flip flops online?
ola Baggers!
I am off to Barecelona on Saturday I am desperately looking for a nice pair of flip flops - preferable online as I am working until I drop to get stuff finished before I go.. can anyone recommend a decent site? Already tried ASOs which was the usual over priced poor quality crapola ...
Answer:
Hi catslife,
You can try here: http://www.funkyflipflops.com/
Answer:
Land's End has some nice leather ones atm www.landsend.co.uk - I posted a piccy the other day.
Answer:
You could try www.faith.co.uk or alternatively you could always buy some at the airport before you go and that way you'd get a proper look/know they fit etc?

NO.4. ask :
I NEED this bag - anyone seen it?
I really really want this bag or very similar. Has anyone seen any knocking about? This particular one is from Faith, I think.
Answer:
That's off Ebay isn't it?
Yeah it's a Faith clutch and I saw the black and brown instore on Oxford Street about a month ago - should have the silver now too.
Funny thing is that, that bag has been on their website since last year!
They're £30 but the Ebay one has gone over £30 already:rolleyes:
Answer:
Yeah it is. I'm watching it, but not spending more than the bag is worth.
May have a trip into town this weekend - the bag wasn't on the Faith web site yesterday - at least not in silver.

For some strange reason up until mid Jan the bags were on the site for £1 !!!! The no of times I kept logging on daily trying to add them to my basket hoping for an online slip-up. They used to have all the colours online.
I'm leaving to go to Oxford Street within the hour so I'll have a look for you. IF the silver is instore, would you like me to ask for one to be put side for you? I know they hold things for 24 hrs.
Answer:
My mate bought that in TopShop (?) exactly the same, I took it to the till for her!
I've been invited to a 80's themed fancy dress...Help!

I've been invited to a 80's themed fancy dress...Help!
Hi everyone!
I have a 21st birthday party to go to in 2 weeks, and Im really stuck as what to wear:confused: Does anyone have any ideas or know much about 80's fashion?
Any help would be much appreciated...
Answer:
OK - my take on the 80s is:
Puffball skirts
Ra-ra skirts
Early madonna - especially in 'Who's that girl'
Molly ringwald
Fingerless gloves
Shoulder pads and power dressing
Punk
New romantics
Loads of bangles / leather thongs around the wrist, a-ha style
Legwarmers
Leggings
Pixie boots
That's all i can come up with for the mo,
Cherry x
Answer:
Suits with huge shoulder pads and tiny skirts in electric colours
Very big hair
Punks were more late 70's than 80's otherwise everything Cherrystar said.
The very though of 80's clothes makes me shudder.
Answer:
Ooh, I think you could possibly stay in theme but look nice at the same time with this idea. Are you near a Primark at all??
I would go for a little ra-ra skirt (you could get a cheap t-shirt material one) and put some netting underneath? Add a pair of footless tights (from any 'alternative' shops or website) and a pair of stilettoes.
You can make yourself some fingerless gloves by chopping the legs off some fishnets and poking your fingers through?
You can make a top by customising an old t-shirt and using t-shirt paint or making an off the shoulder cropped sweatshirt by chopping up an old one and perhaps adding some badges?
Then really go to town on backcombing your hair, putting scraves in it, wearing silly earrings etc? Add a few plastic bangles?
I've just realised, I have done all that working on a tight budget which you didn't mention....sorry!
Why not google loads of 80's bands like Bananarama to check out the hairstyles etc?
Answer:
Go as an early 80s punk in drainpipes and blazer, complete with 'Gordon is a moron' badge :D
