Answer:
The Yellow Pages lists 020 7927 0000 ... is that the number you're already trying? Are you sure it opens at 9am?

It seems a lot of people on the forum have bought these yummy jeans, I've had mine for about a month now and not worn them once     I'm having problems putting outfits together, mainly when it comes to shoes. I'm thinking a shrug, long vest and the jeans with flip flops when it gets warmer but until then I'm lost with what to wear them with, shoe wise. What have you lot been wearing them with? And any nice outfits you've put together with these jeans   (smooches for our moochs....sorry couldnt help it :o )

Brown pointy boots, i thought it would look odd but if you've got the right length Mooch jeans it looks surprisingly good in a "i've made an effort in a laid back way" i like to think anyway:o

I haven't tried this, will do later this evening! Thing is I've come up with a few nice outfits; wrap top, cami and jeans or light crew neck sweater/cardi with knee length light dress and jeans but these only look nice with flip flops!

Right. Correct me if I am wrong but:
She posts about a nasty bag then gets upset because people don't like it. She completely ignores any positive comments made about the bag and instead starts banging on about our granny dresses.
After saying we havn't got a clue and are a bunch of bitches, she posts again about some other dodgy stuff and then starts banging on again about not being a chav and once again, ignores any positive comments.
I think that if we all completely ignore her and her dodgy clothes/bags, fashion woud go back to being a nicer place to play?
Isn't there an option where we can all choose to 'ignore' ?
Answer:
Haven't posted on Fashion for a few days, but was reading all these posts this morning. Agreed that she doesn't really seem to be entering into the spirit of the forum - maybe we could tell her nicely tho, rather than start another scrap? (not saying you're trying to start a fight tho, theblonde)
Not sure about the "ignore" thing - will look into it...
Answer:
I'm with you but can you given her one last pasteing like only can for the rest of us :D

I wish. I came on the bag this morning and she had a nasty comment on every thread on the front page.
Answer:
How VERY sad are you, yes granny dresses are tacky, its like a school playground here, so very immature, how old are u

Hold your horses everyone........ I'm taking a stance because I'm relatively new here and
can't be constituted as taking sides.
All this bitching is turning what should be a constructive, forward thinking and above all fun
board into a stereotypical cat fight.
My mother always says if you don't want to know the truth then don't ask. I'll go shopping with my
mum and sister, and even the hubby, and ask their honest opinion. I'll tell my sister that she
looks like a hooker in a short skirt and she'll tell me that I look like two doughnuts in cling
film if I try anything too unflattering on. When we look great in something we'll compliment
each other until we've ran out of vodka!! We are all seeking this same level of 'sisterhood' from
the baggers. If you don't want people to comment honestly on your taste from their perspective -
good or bad - then don't ask their opinion. At the same time I think there has to be a level of tact
and diplomacy when posting an opinion, especially in this electronic world where it's easy to
inflate a comment beyond it's intended severity or misinterpret something.
I don't like to see the playground bully tactics employed by those who feel hurt by comments made.
Perhaps we are just one step away from threads entitled "Fashioneata smells of poo and has got
fleas".
In the words of Rodney King "Why can't we all just get along?".
Answer:
Very true, I know that most people here would not like the clothes I wear, but then I'm curious to find out why not, after all saying that you don't like it is pointless if there is no reason behind it or the reason or the reason is something like "Goths are stupid". But also being rude when you don't get the responce you want is equally as unconstructive.

Answer:
I think perhaps it would be a good idea to create a set of guidelines as a sticky on the top of the forum which sets out the guidelines for feedback about clothing.
Obviously some people aren't prepared to take on honest opinions of their clothes, and others cannot provide feedback without some degree of insult.
Could we draw out some sort of agreement and disclaimer, or is this too drastic for the situation at hand?
Answer:
I don't know whether that's too drastic for the situation at hand, Gossip Column.
What you could do is start a thread with ideas for guidelines and see what everyone thinks of it, or if they have anything to add etc and so forth.
If it gets a good response, I'm sure they'd be no problem with stickying them.
:)
Answer:
I think I'll just leave it for the time being - it's probably a bit too drastic for the small amount of activity going on! Might cause more arguments than peace!
