Dont post often on here but need some recommendations. Im trying to find a simple black tight stretchy body con style mini dress or micro mini skirt. I love the body con trend but can I heck find anything!
Anyone know where i can get ribbed/stretch mini's or simple long vest type dress??

have already tried that but there is suprisingly very little on there!
Ive had a look on the american apparel website and they have some stuff on there that looks to fit the bill - but im a bit weary of ordering from them as i dont know what the fitting will be like and there's no where up north that stocks (that i know of) so i could try before i buy. :cmdunno:

Hi all,
I have a friends birthday coming up soon. I know she does like wearing her leather, so I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere (preferably on the High St) that sells long leather coats similar to the one below (doesn't have to be in that colour, although I do like that colour)
I do check TK Maxx sometimes at their selection, as I did get her a nice short leather trench jacket from there before, which she likes.
Or does anyone know of anywhere that is selling 50"+ length coats (doesn't have to be leather), as she 5' 8" and likes them to be that littlbe bit longer. If I can't get either though, then I will probably end up getting her something completely different. But I thought I would ask here first. Thanks for any help you can give me.

If you are looking for super long coats Long Tall Sally is your best bet but I'm pretty certain they won't be leather. Other wise I would try a market or independant leather clothing specialist, I don't think it's something you'll find on the hight street especially going into summer. Isn't there a good leather market round Petticoat Lane? London baggers should be able to provide more details.

If you're in London then yeah, Petticoat lane have loads of leather coat/jacket stalls and shops.
Also Camden have lots of leather coat shops. You should be able to get a very good bargain this time of year.

Thanks ladies for your replies. I may have a look in Long Tall Sally, since I'm not from London. Although, we do have market stalls round where I am here in Birmingham which sell leather coats and jackets. The only thing is that I look at them (saw a nice beige one the other week) and then I look at the prices (average price seems to be around £25) and I think 'At that price, surely it is too good to be true?' Like they will just fall apart in no time or something. Has anyone ever bought leather from a market stall? Or is it as the old saying goes 'You get what you pay for'. Thanks again ladies for your help. Really appreciate it.

:lol: It's okay, I went to town as a priority over my revision this morning! I wouldn't mind picking you up the L if it'd fit you, but I've got a feeling it wouldn't :cmdunno: (although I have no idea what size you are!)
Some might pop up on Ebay soon, you never know (I've just got a replacement red Topshop leather bag off there, same as one that I bought last year and used until it fell apart - so things do pop up now and again!)
