Asos Shoes
I have bought a pair of black heels off ASOS in my usual size its the first time I have bought shoes off the size and was wondering if their shoes are bigger or smaller than the normal sizes or if they are the same. As some internet sites shoes can be bigger than normal high street shops
Thanks IG x
Answer:
I'd say they come up small, but I've only had one pair of shoes from them x

hiya
i find ASOS shoes come up generally smaller. also, i have found its a real hit and miss with the quality. some shoes ive had from ASOS have been fab, but others have been of poor quality and fit. i find unless its something you really *cant* buy elsewhere, then steer clear of styles that you can buy in general shops
HTH :)
Answer:
Difficult to say with ASOS as they have so many brands suppliers, but if it is the ASOS own brand they are likely to be ones manufactured in china and likely to come up a bit small.
Sorry I couldn't be a bit more helpful.

was just thinking earlier today that I totally forgot about a bag I saw in HK that reminded me of you.
It was mint green and said 'Kiss me... i'm a fairy!'
Would've been perfect as it was green, which I know you love and cos of what it said... but it was a truly hideous bag!
Women's Shopping logic

Women's Shopping logic
Does anyone else do this?
- tell your mum/oh it was on sale when they say 'haven't you got six like that already?
- Think - it was cheap so I didn't actually SPEND money, I SAVED it
- knock a bit off the price when telling someone what a bargain you got, and add a bit off the price of the real thing or the original price?
- if you can't get something (sold out, discontinued), build it up into your head into the most perfect thing ever and obsess about it for the rest of your life
- suffer from UMS during sales/online shopping/other countries (I know we did this the other day but I couldn't resist sticking it in here)
- buy things on sale that don't fit (esp. shoes) just coz they are on sale
Of course I would never do it on here coz I know everyone else is a shopping 'specialist' like me, but other people don't 'get it' do they?
Can anyone add any more
Answer:
[Bdo that with the Faith Nofter shoes I loved (and still do) so much. I obsess over these shoes, stare at the picture longingly , cursing myself for not having bought them when they were in the shops (but I just couldn't part with £60 around Christmas for a pair of shoes I'd be pretty scared of wearing in case I ruined them), when in reality I know that the glitter has a tendency to rub the skin off your ankles, ladder tights, and they weren't that comfy when I tried them on anyway.
[/b]
Oh, the Nofters. it hurts to think of them.
And this is coming from a chick who never wears shoes above 2.5 inches high. I wanted red and blue (I never wear blue!) and got neither :(
I dream about the thousands of outfits they'd have "made" when in reality they'd just be languishing in the back of my wardrobe (or framed on the wall!) Sigh. :meh:
I don't buy things that don't fit anymore - can't afford it! - but I did once buy a pair of size 5 boots in a sale (I'm a size 3 too) and told myself it'd be fine if they were padded out with extra socks. I had to weari 4 pairs or something and fell over regularly in them because, in reality, they were clown boots for me.
Answer:
I am only too guilty of all of the above described... so sue me :D
Answer:
I too am guilty of many of the above!!
Also, when I go food shopping and buy something which isn't food (clothes etc) I just deduct it from my bill, so I didn't really spend £40 etc, only £20 of that was food!!! It's really random, but it is such a habit, I do it loads! And not just with clothes but also when I buy something out of the ordinary, or something that may cost more but be a one off purchase!!
How logical is that?!

So how was your bank holiday......
......... and just so it's not completely O/T what did you wear (especially since the sun finally came out)?
Despite a really nasty migraine late Friday night / saturday, I still managed to fit in shopping with Mr Mimi (who got some great new clothes) a couple of good workouts, one huge run, dinner with my best mate, delicious dinner with Mr Mimi, sunbathing in Kensington palace Gardens and of course some cake!!
I mostly wore - Chloe culottes and cami, denim pedal pushers and new French Connection tops, cropped combats and vests, white gypsy skirt from Ibiza with green vest and gold accessories and GYM KIT!
Hope you all had a great weekend.

glad you had fun mimi, mmmmmm cake................:letseat:
i got exceedingly smashed at friends bbq on sunday, rolled in at god knows what time (have no recollection of taxi home shame on me) monday morning only to receive a phonecall at 630am with news that my twin sis was having contractions.
I legged it to the hospital, and 45 minutes later i saw my first nephew being born. It was utterly amazing. Cannot stop welling up its so bizarre (my sister and i are so close though so..)
yesterday was spent waiting in hospital to be discharged and then cooing over Finley Oliver.
I want a son now! :yay:
Glad you had fun. i missed all the good weather and was in not the best dressed state i've ever been in - as you can imagine - but wouldnt have swapped it for the world....xxx

Ahhh... congrats Vanessa!
My weekend consisting of shopping in the rain, buying nothing although I was out for 6 hours! Then Sunday shopping in the dull and overcast weather, again buying nothing. TO find on MOnday my one relax day with partial sunshine to go out and buy a new mattress. Thats it!
No sun anywhere to wear anything too nice or summery! I so got my hopes up for good weather and was really disappointed. Obviously not getting anything either annoyed me too!
Gr.....:(
