orange?

NO.1. Ask :
orange?
Do many of you wear orange?
I saw a girl today wearing a gorgeous orange coloured v neck top.. it was a lovely shade of orange, not too deep but not like peach.. she was wearing it with jeans and brown accessories..
i like this look but is good for everyone? also i am indian so im thinking it might not suit my colouring?
anyone have any nice orange things? :)
Answer:
I have an orange bag and a bright orange fitted tee that I got from Hennes. Also have an orange v-neck jumper - again from Hennes.
It compliments my skin tone (I'm black). I like Orange - very summery
Answer:
I have olivey skin and blonde hair, and orange suits me when I have a tan.
A more peachy shade looks better when I'm all wintery and pale (like I am atm!) - have a gorgeous racer back top with a little bit of glittery lace round the top which looks yummy with jeans. Bought one of those baggy vest top things from Topshop in bright orange for my hols.
Answer:
I've got olive coloured skin - part indian. I can't wear orange, it makes me look jaundiced! My skin tone is yellow based rather than pink based so oranges and yellows are a no go for me.
Answer:
I wear yellow which actually suits me quite well.. i think im more of a golden type colouring than yellow based..

    TK Maxx
    Hi there
just wondering if anyone can tell me if the clothing in TK Maxx is authentic? i have heard of colleagues buying 7FAMK jeans and French Connection clothing there for less than £50 per item - are they real???
    Answer:
I'm pretty sure they are, French Connection certainly are, they just sell previous seasons and overstocks. They don't do 7FAMK jeans to my knowledge, what they do do is Seven jeans which are a "homage" brand.
    Answer:
French Connection is definitely genuine as is Earl (got FAB jeans from there in Ireland last year!!)
    Happy shopping!!

    Answer:
Yea I heard that the Seven jeans they did there weren't the proper ones.
    Answer:
I have bought Earl Jeans and a Furla here at TX Maxx. Their sevens I think are by Se7en, aren't they? As soon as you put them on you can tell they aren't the real thing coz the fit is crap.
You do need to scratch and scratch and scratch but you can find nice things if you are patient and go in often.

    Knickers and low rise jeans
Despite being a size 6, my mooch jeans stretch with wear so that they fall almost obscenely low on me (assuming I wasn't wearing underwear!). I usually wear long tops with them to cover meself up, but I was just wondering what underwear you all wear with your low rise jeans?
IMO thongs look terrible poking over the top - have got myself a couple of funky pairs of boy shorts, but it really p*sses me off when I'm wearing lovely frilly matching undies on and I have bows poking out - just looks silly!
    What do you all wear?
    Answer:
Have you tried the hipster thongs?
    Answer:
Sorry yes, forgot to add that I've got low rise thongs/knickers and they still show!
Just curious what everyone else wears really.
(And just realised that makes me sound like a big old perve :o :p )

    I like those AMP!

1 Attachment(s) I've seen these shoes which I might get to go with my black dress as discussed in another thread....do you like them? Excuse brevity of thread, baby on lap.....
    Answer:
They're nice shoes, but are they brown? In which case I wouldn't wear them with a black dress.
    Answer:
They're bronze - am hoping they're quite a lightish bronze at that....thry also come in silver bit are a bit bright
    Answer:
I've seen them in Schuh and they're a lot nicer irl and are lighter too :)

    NO.5. ask :
    Cliques
I'm honestly not trying to make enemies here, but does anyone else feel that fashion is sometimes a case of "the old regulars"? I used to post a lot, but work means I can't anymore. I have found though that when I do post on regular threads the reaction is always non-existant.
I am sick, so possibly over-sensitive, but I wondered if anyone else had noticed?
    Answer:
Bless, you are an old regular aren't you? (you are to me anyway) The Bag is v quiet recently, I've even had to resort to working now and again.
Have some chocci, it will love you unconditionally and make you feel loads better.

Sorry to hear you're poorly, Trickster - hope you feel better soon.
Anyhoo, I had to smile when I saw that your thread had 11 views and no replies- hope that didn't make you paranoid!
I don't post in fashion much, but do find that sometimes when I do I don't get many/any replies. I put this down to my thread not being interesting enough, not me being dull - I hope.
Sometimes I get loads of replies tho, and I'm def not in a clique...way too much baby-stuff to do to be bagging all the time.

    Answer:
I hope it's not and I apologise if I'm perceived as being part of any clique.
I think there are less people around nowadays and a lot of those who have deserted us are the old regulars. Perhaps that explains why things are quiet.
    Mimi xx
    Answer:
I think that a lot of the regulars don't post here anymore (Loony, Annanas, Sushi, Shopaholic Princess (?)) so that the core of people posting on here is much smaller.
I generally only reply to posts about things I know about (heres, jewellery), rather than posts by particular people, if that helps to make you feel any better, trickster? I know you from waaay back so I would always trip over myself to help you if I could.
ETA after the big hoohaa on here I left and had my name and all my posts deleted. I came back as someone else and in the beginning I was still upset and oversensitive that people hated me after all that had happened. I have to say that even people who didn't recognise my name were nice and helpful to me. Maybe coz I post about heres, which a lot of people are keen on.
