How can you tell if a bag will become a classic?
A friend of mine told me that a bag I was looking at wasn't a "classic" and I wondered how she came to that conclusion.
Answer:
I personally don't like the term 'classic'. It's pretty silly.
I think it's to do with the dating of an item. If it's one of those bags which goes out of date quite quickly (e.g. the new paddington bag will date pretty quickly), then it's not a classic.
A classic bag is one which you will be able to use all the time without it looking dated and out of fashion.
So, yeah... lol.
Who cares if the bag isn't a classic?! I've so many bags from years ago that I use all the time. It's much better to buy a bag you like!
Answer:
If I was going to pay big bucks for a bag i'd want it to be a 'classic' item that I would get long term use out of it... otherwise I wouldn't bother.
I have classic bags and fashionable ones, but it doesn't make any difference to me, I still use them and like them.
Who cares if a bag isn't classic... except of course pink dior girly bags    those are so far the opposite of classic (and classy!!!)
I consider 'classic' heres to be plainer but just as stylish and can be dressed up or down and still look just as good. I think some mulberry and marc jacobs bags are good examples of classic bags.

I'm planning on wearing a Coral coloured top on Saturday, but have no idea of what colour trousers I should be wearing with it.
Can any of you lovely Fashion girls help?
Answer:
I'd be inclined to wear jeans but if you want to be smarter I'd go for khaki or camel/beige. Definitely not black (would be rather eighties) and I'd be loathe to wear brown as it would look rather wintry.

I've got some nice beige ish linen trousers.
Would that look ok?
I'll take my jeans too, just in case I change my mind at the last minute.

I saw a pic of your red glittery pumps on the 'buys this week' thread, can you tell me what the sizing is like? They are so purty! And has all the glitter come off them are are they actually ok to wear? BTW, your feet are soo diddy, no wonder the pics of your shoes always look so cute!
Answer:
Lol, diddy, haven't heard that word for ages.
I haven't worn them out yet, just a couple of times round the house and I've always been really careful not to rub them against each other just in case the glitter does come off ! It hasn't come off over the floor or my shelves though so I think it's pretty 'secure'. Wouldn't go rubbing my hands over them though.
I'm probably the worst person to ask about sizing since my feet are forever shrinking. I'm normally a 3 in most shoes, but I ordered a 2 because the kids' sizes are £5 cheaper and I'm cheap, lol, and also quite broke ! They fit fine though, but then a lot of 2s do lately, so I'd just order your normal size, they seem pretty accurate. If you're between sizes, go 1 up. Slightly roomy shoes are better than ones that pinch.
Answer:
Thankyou!
Answer:
It's ok, yw. Are you getting the same ones, same colour ? They had a lovely silver pair as well. If you don't get red, i'd recommend them !
Oh yeh, and I realised last night after wearing them for the first time with bare feet (I'd worn them with popsocks before), that the glitter, if it rubs them, has a tendency to leave a bit of a rash. It's fine if you wear nude tights, etc. with them though.
Answer:
Thanks for that LM, will invest in some pop socks. I'm stuck between the silver and red, but i figure the red mught be handy for the fancy dress parties that we often have at uni.
