Answer:
I love the metallic gold Orca bag.

Answer:
Here's devastating news - Orca was at London Fashion W/e and the current metallic bags were all £79-89!!!! I really regret not getting one
Piglet... I think it's a great idea to have a Top 40! It's nice to see what's out there. Who chooses them? Do we get any say? (Only becos there are some bags there I'm not too keen on :p )

GASP!!!
I will look out for them on Red Direct site as well as they are sometimes cheaper there.
Dunno if anyone has seen a nice lookalike version anywhere as I'm after a small metallic funky bag for going out. But on a rather more limited budget!
Answer:
My faves from each category are:
Metallic - Silver Dollargrand
Colourful - Pink DKNY or MS blue suede bag
Floral - Embroidered accessorize or KG blue crochet bag
Embellished - KG butterfly bag
What are yours?
BTW - anyone notice that gross topshop one I posted about in the must have metallics?

Do you like this?
1 Attachment(s) I've found this top on ASOS and think its rather nice :) What do you all think? i know ASOS isn't fab quality but I only plan on wearing it once (Im off out for my birthday next weekend) If I say put a green strappy top underneath it do you think I could wear a skirt with it or would that be too much flesh?
ETA: Im not sure whether to wait as I'm going to primark on sunday and I might see something there, is there anything similar there at the moment?
x
Answer:
I think it looks really pretty, how long is the skirt your are planning to wear? If it is over the knee, you might not need to wear the vest underneath the shirt, if you know what I mean;)
If you get it, let us know what the quality is like as it looks really nice and I can imaging wearing it with white linen trousers filp flops for dinners in the summer.
Answer:
I am not an ASOS fan and I'm not too sure about that top either I'm afraid. The quality won't be great and I've seen much nicer tops in that style in other shops; however, I love the colour.
I know you say you only want to wear it once for your birthday, but why not get something you love that you'll want to wear again? Otherwise it seems a false economy. In my opinion, if you're really unsure, don't buy it! Also, the fact that it's your b'day is even more reason for you to be wearing summat you adore!
BUT if you decide to go for it, I'd say that a cute vest underneath will ward off the tarty cleavage-legs combo, and I'm sure you'll look gorgeous.
Answer:
It is a very pretty top, although I'm not too sure on the ribbon detailing around the neck line and waist - would have looked much nicer without it. You could always order it and send it back if you don't like it and also head to Primark and other shops in the meantime.
Answer:
wow, thank you for your quick replies! Your all right, I think I should wait til Primark- or see if I see something else. I do really like the style of the top but I am bothered about the quality. If I don't see anything on Sunday I will probs just by this one but I shall see :)
how long is the skirt your are planning to wear?
Its a bit longer than the one in the picture but know where past knees, if that makes sense. Its just pain black with a few pleats in it.

What is the worst outfit...
NO.3. ask :
What is the worst outfit...
... that you could invent from your own wardrobe?! I was bored rigid during my tutorial earlier (rather bad since I was the tutor  ), so I was inventing horrible outfits to keep myself awake...
I know you're all ladies of impeccable taste ;) of course, but exercise yuor imaginations a little! Anything goes - from imaginatively vile to just mismatched and confused!
Mine:
-- Ballet shoe pink chiffon flapper dress with art deco beading and sequins
-- Leopard print tights
-- Either my black Lara Croft boots or hot pink strappy sandals
-- Black cardigan with a furry collar or a sequinned purple crocheted lace cardigan
-- Fake fur leopard print jacket
Go on, beat that!

Answer:
This will distract me from feeling ill!
Mine would be
* jeans to wear with flat shoes paired with
* 4 inch electric blue stilettos
* ankle socks I got for Christmas with a lovely teddy dressed like
Santa
* a turquoise sequinned floaty top
* my turquoise shrug over the top (pleasantly bunching up the
top)
*Then to top it all off, the grey pinstriped suit jacket I got for my
graduation
That took some thinking about!
Answer:
:D I love this game!
Bright green jumper with my red halterneck layered over the top. White gypsy skirt, spotty wellies and sparkly tweed jacket :D
La Redoute...hit or miss!
NO.4. ask :
La Redoute...hit or miss!
Having received my 8 items yesterday; I can only say that I was slightly disappointed by the things! Ive kept one top, which I don't remeber ordering, buts nice anyway and the other 7 items were either too big or the material was shocking! They really are a hit or miss company.
Ive ordered quite alot from them in the past, so Im quite disappointed! Plus, two items aren't going to be availiable for 3 weeks!! Why say in your catalogue you have them when you don't, they always have this rediculous problem!
Phew, rant over!
Answer:
I have a catalogue from them but have been put off buying from them because a lot of people on here haven't had very good things to say. Shame, as they have some nice stuff. Think I'll stick with my Look Again catalogue - ok its not as stylish but its great for basics and the odd nice piece and plus I get 20 weeks interest free.
Answer:
what did you order? they are very hit and miss with quality and fit, so when i order from the summer catalogue i'll be posting to say what's good and what's not.
Answer:
I love Redoute... Having been a customer with them for yonks now, I now have an intuitive sixth sense that allows me to predict which items are going to look good and fit well, and which will be nothing like the pics in real life. For example, I look at the fabric details, length of items etc. And if I don't like something I've ordered, I've never had a problem with returns.
I have lots of great pieces in my wardrobe from Redoute. I find stuff from other catalogues like Look Again, Freemans, Additions etc bad quality usually - or their sizes only start from size 10/12, which is no good for a lot of people.
Answer:
I know a lot of people have hit or miss experiences with La Redoute - my mum is forever loving and hating them at the same time!
For me, the only misses I've had is when I've not been able to fit into the clothes. One pair of jeans in particular - the size was stated as a 16, but the waistband was the same in inches as my room mate's size 12 jeans from elsewhere.
I tend to only buy basic things from them though - jumpers and cardies for uni, vests for under tops that sort of thing.
Although I never got my free luggage set which I was pissed off about!
Girls, I need your help for tonight
NO.5. ask :
Girls, I need your help for tonight
Hi,
For a meal, I am wearing a fuschia pink skirt, quite heavy smooth material, black and pink chiffony top, black kitten heels, pink earrings, black bag.
What colour tights do i wear.... nude, or black
The kitten heels are cutie and slight open toe.
BTW, are kitten heels unfashionable...
Help :o
Answer:
I would say nude tights as you have quite a bit of pink and black going on already.
Answer:
I would also say nude, black might be too dramatic!
Kitten heels are still in all the shops aren't they? I never wear them, but I have seen them in lots of shops, so they must be reasonably 'in'
Have a nice time! :)
Answer:

I would also say nude tights. Not sure if kitten heels are deemed unfashionable or not but they are still in the shops, I wear them as they are comfortable and I think they look quite classy.
Have fun tonight

Answer:
Re: Girls, I need your help for tonight
Another vote for nude tights - maybe fishnets?
According to this month's Elle, kitten heels are indeed 'out', but personally I think they're really a bit of a classic - comfortable and still chic.
