Belstaff boots at TK Maxx

NO.1. Ask :
Belstaff boots at TK Maxx
I popped into the most unpromising TK Maxx ever this afternoon (Halifax, West Yorkshire, if you're interested) to return a jumper that was the wrong size and made not one, but two dream purchases:
A pair of Belstaff Naked Master flat boots (the ones with the pocket on the right calf that's perfect for a credit card and a lipstick on a night out!) for £149 and a See by Chloe long, grey parka coat for £149.
The boots are to-die-for and are a great addition to the two pairs of Belstaffs I already have in my wardrobe :o but I'm not entirely convinced about the parka. I love it, but I don't know if I need / can afford another coat. But I just couldn't leave it on the shelf ;) If I decide I don't want it, I will happily offer first dibs to anyone else and post it on (it's a size 8 on the label but I'm a standard size 10 and it fits me perfectly).
Apologies for the bragging, but I'm just astounded by finding these two bargains in the most unlikely of places. :)

Answer:
I have no idea what those boots are but I think I want them already! Do you have a pic?
Answer:
Don't have a picture, but you can find them here if you look in the accessories / shoes boots section
http://www.belstaff.com/
I'm sure someone cleverer than me will come along in a minute and post the exact style for you! :D
I cannot recommend Belstaff boots highly enough: they look great with anything and age and wear brilliantly (I'm not on commission and don't have any association with the brand in any way, in case you're wondering! ;)
Answer:
I got myself a pair of Belstaff boots from TK Maxx too. I am a size 2 and found mine in the kids section for £50. I am not lying when I say I ran to the checkout!!

    Dodgy Ebay email warning
I just had a dodgy email from someone pretending to be Paypal. The email was headed Warning! Someone has tried to violate your paypal account. If you follow the links it takes you through to a bogus page and you have to enter your user name, password and bank details. I rang paypal when I saw it and they confirmed that it was a scam. I just thought I should let you know as there are loads of us here who use it.
I was going to post under shopping but I thought it was more relevant here.
    Answer:
    Thanks for that :)
I had one of those emails ages ago - they are so annoying! I forwarded it to ebay (can't remember which address) and they replied confiming it was a spoof.
    Answer:
I have had a few of those in the last few days as well - I have also had a few claiming to be from ebay itself - they really should try and clamp down it I just delete it all now
    Answer:
I've been with ebay about 2 years and the only kind of kosher ebay messages they send to me are about promotions they have... I would disregard any kind of messages from them and paypal ones too.

    some help needed....
i know this is a bit random but here it goes.....
i was in spitalfield market about a year ago and i fell in love with some jewlery at a stand there. i cant remember the designers name but she said she sells in one of the big dept stores and she had loads of magazine outouts with celebs wearing her pieces. the necklace in particular that i liked was a kind of charm necklace, long chain with loads of trinkets on it and precious stones etc. i think it was about £70. does anyone know the name of the designer or the collection or where i can get it (other than spittalfield!) i would be soooo greatful if someone could help me with this as ive been dreaming about the necklace with a year now!!!
    thanks so much xxxx
    Answer:
Could it be Mawi or Azuni jewellery? Treasure Box is also a nice jewellery website that stocks some brands and designers. Maybe you might recognise the name from their list.
    Answer:
Definately try Treasure Chest. Let us all know how you go with it!!!

    Indian Khussa Shoes: Which ones?
I've found some lovely ones on ebay but just a few questions for anyone that has some should i get a size up? Oh and also which ones do everyone like the most?

    These

And there is another pair but tinypic has stopped working
 So I'll post them in a minute or two when I can get them on.
    So what does everyone think?:)
    Answer:
That is so odd... i've just got a message from CX asking me about these and now this thread... I've just been down to Green street in Upton park and bought 2 pairs!!!
I'm about to post a thread about them!
The only advice I can give is avoid buying these unless you buy them in person. Because they are handmade, and mass produced in india, there is so much variation and the quality can be poor on some of these shoes.
    Answer:
    Here we go:

Yingers just seen your post as I was adding those. They are lovely but the only way I think I'm going to be able to get a pair is online  anywhere near me don't have them and the nearest "big" place to me is Nottingham and I couldn't find any the last time I went. I was sort of hoping that if I got a size up the chances of them not fitting would be less. Thanks though I'm gonna think about it.
    :)
    Answer:
Cool, you got my PM ok Yingers! LOL
I've got those gold ones! They're knackered now! In fact all 3 pairs I have need replacing!!
Off to Green Street 2mor :yay: after dropping in on my beloved Hennes. I LOVE that shop at the mo! :)
    Answer:
CX do you find that they wear out easily? Right I am convinced now I need them I think I'm gonna get the top pair to start off as I think they will be most versatile with my wardrobe :)
    Thanks :)
