Ironing
Love it, or hate it?
Wednesday night is shirt night, generally 10 or 12 of Mr C's shirts to be ironed. I hate it, I actually cried last night! (Although that was a lot to do with hormones as opposed the actual task itself. I then went on to catch my finger in the hinge of a collapsing laden down clothes horse. OW!!!)
Answer:
I loathe ironing and I do as little as possible. If something can get away with not being ironed, I don't bother.
Answer:
I hate it too. We have a deal in our house that Mr T does all the cooking and I do the washing and ironing; I hate both of these tasks, but I figured that you have to cook everyday, but you dont have to wash and iron everyday  Plus Mr T quite likes cooking... he fancies himself as some sort of Jamie Oliver
Still though I put it off for ages and then end up with a massive pile which takes me hours :(
Answer:
Hmmmm my first thought is, if you hate so much then why are you ironing his shirts? Maybe he should start doing his own, or at the very least why don't you swap and change about so that you only need to do it every other week and he does it in between?
Answer:
hate it hate it hate it. I have been known to buy clothes rather than iron something to wear. In fact, I can say I have not personally ironed something for about 7 years ! I either pay my cleaning lady to iron or get it laundered and ironed. Bit I don't really wear that much stuff that needs to be ironed.....because I avoid buying stuff that is not easy-care. For instance, I refuse to buy silk clothing as I can't be faffed with all the hand-washing and damp ironing blah blah.

Miss S Festival maxi dress (blue)
Now online in all sizes. I had decided I wasn't doing the maxi dress thing, but now I'm dithering. :cmdunno: I prefer the other colourway, but this one looks nice too. I think I will look like a twat in a maxi dress, but maybe I should give it a go.
They look quite generous - anyone already got one - are they true to size?

Thanks for the heads up on this. I like the blue colourway better, I think. Just ordered one.
Answer:
Yeah, thanks for the tip! I think I might be living in maxi dresses this summer, as they hide all those things one wants hidden :o :D. I already have the black floral Primark one, and might get this too.
I can't imagine anyone looking a twat in one, though. Why not get it and see how you feel with it on (and post some pics too, so we can judge the twattiness :p)?
Answer:
Yeah, I might have to give it a go. I just have images of tripping over mounds of fabric! Is anyone sizing down in these? They look quite roomy, but then look tighter at the top?
Answer:
I've just got the old colourway today :great:
I have to say i wasn't sure about the blue colour when i saw it two weeks ago but i quite like it now
What do you think of these bikinis?
NO.3. ask :
What do you think of these bikinis?
Oooh it's that time of year! Really I have my heart set on a chocolate brown one (first pic) but the top part of the chocolate one seems to be out of stock in my size :( However I love the shape of it so might go for the black version of it instead (2nd and 3rd pics). Also I love the white bikini but I find it very hard to wear white swimwear. It doesn't look the best on me but I might order it anyway just to try. The black patterned one I think is nice too but I think I prefer the others and I'm considering it more for the fact it has wide-sided bottoms which suits my shape better.
Would love your opinions on what you think of these! They're all from figleaves :)
Answer:
Oooh I love all of them! Although I am slightly swayed by the bandeau bikini tops, really like that shape. I'm not very helpful really because I like all of them in different ways. I think the white looks very funky with the belt (slightly Ursula Andress-esque perhaps?), and the black patterned is quite unusual with the 'skirty' bit.
The bandeau sets are very sexy though... sorry, not much help at all am I? Which do you think you'd be more comfortable in? If you're not usually happy in white then it might be risky...
Answer:
I like them all except the patterned one, its the shape of the bottoms putting me off.
The others are gorgeous though. Does the white one come in any other colour?
Answer:
I love the first one - but the bottoms will give you very funny tan lines!!

Advice
Hi I'm a but of a lurker on that Bag. I'm looking for advice from the fashion girls as I'm not the best when it comes to all things a la mode.
I've bought this top from french connection (it was reduced in HoF) but I'm clueless as to what to wear with it, I was thinking of jeans but I'm a bit bored of wearing jeans. And also what accessories.

the stars have to be replaced with ****.
Thats a really pretty top, personally I think I would team it with some nice fitted black shorts and maybe gold accessories? ie: long line necklace and a chunky bangle
eta: take the first letters from 'French Connection United Kingdom'
Answer:
swap the stars for f c u k FA!
I think i would wear it with denim hotpants and some flat gold sandals. I wouldn't wear that many accessories maybe a load of fine bangles and a fine long pendant.

can anyone shed some light please?
Squiggle:confused:
Answer:
try turning them inside out, i find that helps. :)
Answer:
Same as luv princess :)
Answer:
same as the others, but much as I hate it hand-washing might be an alternative, unless you put the item into one of those laundry bag things. Sorry can't remember what they're called.
Answer:
Like everyone was saying...the old inside out does the trick, and also pop stuff in a pillow case too
